i hate to get into this but what makes it a line anyways, but unless a dog is intensly line bred on one hound or cross i don't feel it's is a line consercning a hound, i feel is a line of which one person bred for a certain trait useing certain bred hounds something like house bred, yadkin river bred, hammer bred(linebreeding and more linebreeding) useing outcrosses that a certain person had picked becasue of traits and the outcrosses were usally a line bred hound also.

as for the dogs mentioned above the are all the same ancestory if you go back far enough, it's just the path the owners choose to take to get them(breeding for traits) seperates why people choose them over each other, no doubt if you following hounds you know what you like to hunt, and in no ways can anyone say any certain hound is better than the rest they all made there mark on the walker breed(except for the hammer breeding(bluetick) was just a example) and it was all around positive, remeber a reproducer is a reproducer regardless of bloodline, owner, location and title, the hounds above were great reproducers and i credit them for that but i won't credit the of having their own line. sorry just a redbone man that follows all breeds of hounds venting.

I am A Sackett Jr fan. It seems like the Sackett Jr Clover crossses work well from some of the hounds I have hunted with around here.

But to each his own one mans likes is another mans dislikes!
