Thanks to all...

Thanks to all that has offered some advice about the weather...I just better come prepared. : ) I will keep checking weather closer to time on here, and maybe you GA guys can fill me in the week of the WC. Who's all hunting or participating in the bench shows? Any of you taking blueticks or plotts to sell? Just wondering...I hope to meet some of you all.

I hope you all had a Happy New Year!

Jwebb. You ever hunt on chickasawhatchee (sp)?? I bet over in that area youd need chest waders right now.I've only hunted it once and it was wet then without all the rain.I know a guy that will probably guide to place that adjoins it!!! Hes from albany.Guided us last year. Treed 0 one night and 5 the next. They own alot of land in down there.

I'll be comin down again this year. made it down there last year too and had a blast. It's a good break from the cold Wisconsin winter. LOL! only about 18-19 hour drive for me. I wouldn't miss it though. Gotta hand it to you southerners, you all showed me a lot of hospitality last year. Thanks in advance to anyone i meet down there this year. I'm sure it will be a blast again.

Jwebb, I lived down in Albany for about 6 months, 6 months ago, loved the area down there, Never coon hunted any around there though, (execept the classic a few years ago) I would love to get in touch with you and turn a dog loose sometime we still come down there about once a month to visit with friends. I'm also looking for a place to pleasure hunt the Sat. night of the Classic, if you could point me in the right direction I'd apreciate it.

I'll be down there Friday night hunting out of Brookfield with a Registered dog. I hope to have him a Nite Champion by then but you can never tell. We'll be hunting back down towards Waycross. I always try and hunt one night down there. Albany is only 2 hours from the house so it is nice to have a big hunt fairly close to the house. I spend all day on Saturday just looking around but never hunt on Saturday night.

Good Luck to everyone and have a safe trip.

I've had some really nice hunts down there and returned to the club house and my buddies would be wet from head to toe! All depends on what you draw out.
