i have a chipmunk, that was custom made by cutting the stock off and making a handle out of the stock part, so its real little and has a sling, super nice coon hunting gun, but it has a peep site and i would like to get some kinda scope fixed on it... you put it on your back and forget it until time to knock'em out...

I use an old lever action .22 Revelation rifle. Have a 4 x 32 Tasco scope. Shoots shorts or long rifle. I carry plenty of shells, as I am not a very good shot. Just ask my brothers about my shooting ability!

Ruger mark II with crimson trace lazer grips. its kinda an expensive set up, but when you hunt alone most of the time, it sure is nice having both hands free to handle hounds with no rifle beating you to death.

use a Marlin 17hhm with open sights. Just got the gun at Walmart for 189.00 Can not believe the power that little shell can produce. Knocks out dead ,and I believe is more accurate than my colt .22

Ruger Mark II stainless... Carried only a pistol for over 30 years.
Why carry a bulky long gun? I remember the days of 10 cell
Spot lights a .22 rifle and doublebit axe leading 2 or 3 dogs.
All at once in a briar patch .Those days are over !!! LOL

I use a stainless steel Ruger 10/22 with a plastic stock. I use a scope with it. I carry in the woods in a custom made Wick nylon gun case. I shoot CCI long rifles. I carry 2 magazines with 10 rounds in each magazine. I have went through both magazines a couple of times this year. LOL.

I have a similar 10/22 I use as a squirrel rifle but it has a different style stock and a sling. It also has a scope.

I like both guns, they rarely jam.
