What type op pups is he reproducing.
I've always liked how Jake is bred. I have not hunted with many Jake pups, but I hear they are action packed.
Also what is crossing well on Harry females, besides Rat. that will build on the good (loud houndy mouths, and track drivers). May need a little settling down (sometimes have big ears)
Oliver,
The litter that you are referring to is about what you are looking for. They trail, but they trail while looking to get treed. When they tree...they have a coon. They are not treeing just to tree as many of todays dogs seem to do. Having said that...they are not going to make as "many" trees as some of the more popular strains of dogs of today, but they are going to make more of them count.....
They are just dogs, and they are probably one of the most even across the entire litter as far as ability. They are all just a little different, but they are all just about the same.....if that makes any sense at all.
The pups out of Joker are just starting to show up. He was not bred much early in his life, and I started really raising pups out of him just a little over a year ago. Several of his pups are starting to win in the hunts over the past couple of months. A littermate to Walkercash's pup just placed second in the Treeing Walker futurity. I have one here that is getting nicer by the night.....and about three more that are getting the job done.
Your welcome to come and hunt with some pups out of Joker, and I'll show you what I mean. I have them from 16 months to 8 months old....and I'll show you any of them or all of them....matters not to me.
