Want to is definitely not a problem. I have a few sections open up soon that haven't been hunted. So maybe easier to get some real work done.

Well, Jared said Boone looked awfully nice at the Pro hunt but got beat last night. He got way deep and treed by himself twice but got beat on strike points. Bolt is sure liking it in Va. Here he is Fri night....

The first 1hr 30 Mins we only made one Coon. Abby treed it. Boone went past Abby and Shot over a mile from the truck to a slick giving me 125-. It was a nasty viney mess with dead limbs and trees leaned up against it and all around it. It happens to them all . Shot had a den. Abby then took some minus. Then shot treed another den. We then called time out and had 30 Mins left with Abby sitting at 100+. We recut with ezzy going in for 100, Boone for 75 and Shot for 50, Abby was no where to be found. Shot treed about 150 yards from us, ezzy treed, then Boone was deeper and treed. Shot had a coon, then got to recut. So I had a chance to come out of the hole. Boone had a coon and ezzy had a den. Shot then got 400 yards past Boone and had another at the end of the hunt... if shot was slick I win, well he had another coon. It was a nail biter at the end. It was a great hunt with some great dogs!! I had a blast! Got to hunt with some true winning dogs and handlers.

I will check to see what’s going on and let ya know. I will be be turning a dog loose this week at some point. Now for the rest of the Deer Creek personal they are getting soft, not sure if they will go or not. I just gotta make sure there is plenty of gas in the jeep to keep me warm.

Jared, I needed you tonight. Rhonda got treed with a coon 1.5 miles from where we cut loose. I told those Walker dog guys that you can't dryhole a coondog. She won another $58.50.

Went hunting with Tyler, Garrett and Jared last night. When the going gets tuff the tuff get going. Real cold and 2-3 in of snow but we had fun. Boone traveled 8 miles and Rhonda travelled 11 miles but neither one ever found a coon. Meanwhile poor Peanut snuck off and found one in a cave. We like to never found her and she was all cut up and bloody from fighting with the coon when Tyler got her out. You can't say that Boone or Rhonda won't hunt a woods out plus every patch around the woods you put them in. Neither one is an old man's dog.

I waited till 3AM to go. I figured the Coons would be moving then since it was -15. I treed the heck out of them. :-)
