I hope to see a good many Dredd pups hunting in the Grand American this year. As far as pups for sale, there won't be but a few if any. Also, several people kept every pup out of the litters and we had to turn down a lot of live breedings because of him being collected.

Guys,

First, I would like to apologize if I have missed anyone's call about Dredd or his pups. I have been sick for a while now and am just gettting back into the swing of things. Also, my wife lost her brother last week. So it has been crazy. I also ask everyone to please pray for Steve and his family. His dad has not been doing good for a while. He has been battling cancer and has taking a turn for the worse.

I don't think people realize the well known dogs that Steve has owned at one time or another. Just a few: Honey Creek Harry, Track Lizzard, and Kojack. He will tell you that out of all of them, Dredd is his favorite and he believes is the best reproducer of pups that he has ever had the pleasure to own and witness. Dredd has the best references from the legends of our sports that know what a coondog is suppose to be and what a reproducer is!! These are some well repected coon hunters that have done a lot for our sport and have seen first hand what Dredd puts in his pups: John Rich, Jess Dickerson, Timothy Ball, and Gene Wolfenbarger. Dredd is well known in some areas but still doesn't get the credit he deserves. I am proud to say that Steve and I have collected Dredd and secured our breeding program for years to come. If you are planning on breeding your nice female in the future. You really need to consider Dredd. He is 9 years old and still has an extremely high active sperm count but he is not getting any younger. Why breed to the new flavor of the month when you don't know what he will reproduce? Just because a dog is GrNt and will tree a coon doesn't mean he will put that in his pups. In other words, you can have a nice coondog that doesn't produce the same kind of pups. Reproducer's are very rare when you consider the thousands of titiled male dogs and hundreds of advertised stud dogs out there. When you consider a stud dog go hunt with a some of his pups not him. Call pups owners and talk to them. Then make a decision. If any Dredd pup owners wishes to post anything about their Dredd pup, lets hear it!
