John, rain here has been almost non existant. What little we did get is just keeping stuff alive, we really need 5 inches or so to even get close to normal.

Jeff, the female was off Willy and the Sara Lee female. I had her littermate when he was just a young dog, we called him Cash. Gave him to Danny when he lost Swamp. I'm going to TRY to breed Tiny to Boone. Ever since we missed her at bluetick days several years ago she has not came in right since. Comes in for 5-8 days goes back out, or stays in for 12 or so and won't let a dog breed. May try to AI her if she stays in long enough this time. I just like the old girl and can't thank you enough for getting us hooked up with Bill on her as a young dog. Would definately be up to go hunting, with out the snow storm.

Jake, thanks for the pictures. I hunted with Dixie at bluetick days a few years ago and got beat by her. We got split from eachother all night and had a really good time. I like my little female off Jules. Started easy, likes to be by herself, smart and a good little tree dog. If she was at someones house that had time to hunt more than I am, which aint much, she would be turning some heads.

It's not looking good, hardly swelled if at all and no blood today.

Anyone know of a way to make a female come in heat RIGHT. She's been tied out right next to other females that are in, is fed and watered out of plastic bowls, is not overweight. Gettin a little frustrated. I know we give cattle and goats ludalites to make them cycle. Is there anything like that for dogs?

Brent, there is something out there but I have been told it meses them up for life with their cycles. Cant recall what it is called right now.

Thank's for posting peds . Man , she is bred up very good . I hope she has a nice litter that produces , coondogs . Like she has in the past . Been looking forward to this for a long time . I wish I knew how to pull pull Boones ped's from earlier in this post .

It has cooled down some but dry is an understatement here. We were declared in a severe drought zone yesterday. I have cracks in my lawn an inch wide. Crops are dying. Last rain we had was June 9th and that was .3 of an inch. Hunting has been better....

we finally got rain also!! 2 inches and its gone we hadnt had rain since b&t days 1rst of may but it has cooled a little and tracks seem to be better they are disking corn under last cple days its gone!!!!!
