Nice to see the pictures of Bawlie and Chief together. Joe bred several daughters of Bawlie to Chief doubling up on Queen. My stud dog of the late 70s Grand Nt. Nichols Creek Banner was one of those produced by such a cross. I have a young male that has Banner in him 14 times and old Queen over 40 times. Keep up the good work with this post.

I traveled to Johnson City, Tenn to get these little darlings. Twelve hour drive. Not planning on doing that again for awhile! Ran into one of the worst ice/snow storms I've ever seen on the way home. They are 9 wks old now. Showing unbelieveable traits at this age. Noses on the ground an tails in the air everyday at play time! Roger thanks again for all your hospitality. Tell your wife thank you for me as well.

Okie Dawg lions are know different than a coon a little bigger in stature.The only time I've been close to having problems was when one was wounded.They seem to take the easy way out.

Thanks Lavell, I have allways wondered about that. Didn't know if it would be safe to walk under the tree to get my dogs. There have been some spoted now and then around here but not to likely I will ever see one in a tree. That is one thing I wouldn't punish a hound for treeing though. ( :

wildbill - Hayes, Nailor as well have Lipper in pedigrees as grand sires, on Swamp he has Lipper and House's Tom Again out of House's Lawyer by Lipper, so guess he does have same House Blood flowing, not just name.
