New Blood Has Reached Out To Low Hill Kennels
Here's a quick story.
A man from Texas contacted me just over a year ago interested in Pyro, the man's name is Don Hicks and his username on the UKC board is Metroplex. He elaborated on Pyro's bloodline and how you don't see that up close breeding with Skuna River Bark on top and Stylish Coma on bottom. I explained to him how Pyro hunting and how well he handled on and off the leash. He liked what I had told him. He told me that he wanted Pyro to breed his female Bee Bee because he wanted Pyro's bloodline at his house. So during the just over a year period we talked like any other coon hunter would do on the phone, talking about dogs and what not. We talked about what bloodlines we loved to hunt and so forth. So last week Mr Don was on vacation and was going to be passing through Atlanta and he wanted me to get Bee Bee and once she came in heat have her bred to Pyro and he's letting me handle his 3 year old male Maverick in the hunts this fall and winter. I took a day off of work last Thursday to go meet him for the first time and to pickup Bee Bee and Maverick. With that said it takes trust for a man to ride from Texas, meet a man that lives in Georgia, and leave his two dogs with that man in Georgia to have his female bred to his male dog and to have another dog hunted in the hunts. I told Mr Don over and over that the only thing I have to my name is my word and my word is something I take very seriously. Mr Don and I have become good friends over time and we have a lot of respect for each other now. We're excited about the cross with Bee Bee and Pyro.
Maverick will be breeding females off of Pyro in the future.
