Water everywhere. Road impassible and creeks out of banks. Treed a couple of den trees. Coons where crossing everywhere but were a dog could be turned loose nothing.
I will be back at it tonight.
Maggie still a little nervous from last outing so I know she can't take a scolding or I will be in the truck the rest of the night. I think she will come out of it but I am going to have to be careful for now.

Hunted with Charlie Wyatt and Jeff. We had Maggie and Betty. First dump Betty first strike the dogs located a few times then treed but it was slick.
Next drop dogs struck along the creek about 900 yard and ran the track in.
Next drop dogs struck and ran all over the place. Maggie seemed split we got in there she was treed on a vine with coon seen. We called it a night.
That Betty female is a real hard treedog and is for sure chop on track.
I maybe back at it Tuesday. I will hunt Magic or Sounder with Betty Tuesday if I go.

Last time we played them Bowers took a punch to the face. Should be very interesting. Alex is on the verg of getting kicked out or a technical. 9 pm tonight I should be hunting but I will be watching the game. Class 5A semi finals his playing tonight and our Hickman boys are in it and our Rockbridge girls are also playing.

First coon had a third and first. All dogs left out barking on hot track and I waited to strike. Bad handling on my part.
Next track Maggie didn't open on and finally she did we all drew minus
Third track Misti Struck then Maggie. Lonnie Uchtman was hunting Misti for Dave Godski. She is a nice hound with a good carrying mouth. She treed a den. The redbone and other blue male off Runnin Rocky backed her.
Last drop the Rocky male got first and first I got third and third Misti was second and second coon seen hunt over lost by 50+
Ricky Uchtman with Bonnie won Queen he handled her for Kevin Kuk and the Runnin Rock dog won King. Oh well I got my feet wet and Maggie looked good.

I took Magic and Maggie out tonight.
First drop Magic opened off the lead and I thought maybe a babble but the was later joined in by Maggie and the pushed the coon hard. Bang Maggie treed first the Magic it was close. Mr ringtail was looking down at me. I let them tree for 20 minutes just talking to them and praising them on the job they had done. I lead them off the tree 20 yards and cut them loose. 900 yard later both were treed hard and I didn't hear the race so not sure who treed first. Again another ringtail looking at me. I let them tree for another 20 minutes and petted them up and talked to them and lead them off. Next track the took into the duck perserve and in a hole in the ground and I called it a night. I was about 2 miles from the truck.
I'm tired and I'm going to bed.

He had Image and a young female from Daniel Morton stock. I had Sounder.
First drop Image and Sounder stuck and away they went after a very long race they treed and had a split tree 5 feet apart both had coons. The young female was there she opened a few times on track.
Next drop Sounder and Image opened on a cold track and work it long ways. Sounder went one way Image the other. Image treed but didn't stick. The female found something to open on and she ran the devil out of it. Me while Sounder split treed in there about .6 of a mile or more. All I know is I walked my butt to him he had the meat. I met Charlie on the road and was ready to come home. The young female got all fired up tonight and she has a whale of a mouth on her so time will tell.
My legs are like noodles and I'm going to bed! Good night!

Elmo, we keep this up (hunting those 2 dogs) and we
both will lose the weight were wanting to. LOL.

Both dogs looked good and Sounder had a coon at the
end of the hunt and looked good doing it. Little female
didn't look bad for the 3rd night out.

I want him to come back at some point but I don't see that happening. He will sit at home alot. I don't have the area to hunt him without him getting me in trouble. After one treed made and you walk him from there he will not blow through the country but if you send him then you will get him off the tree.
Yes Charlie these two males will take the weight right off. I'm going tonight. It's Maggie's turn again.

After the cold hit me in the face about 8:30 pm I decided to stay warm and be a internet coonhunter. Weather change coming so we shall see over the weekend. I know a man can get dogs finished this time of year and I like the leaves off the trees for sure.
MU Tigers play at 8:20 pm tonight so either they will give me false hope or go down like always in the last minute of the game. Never the less I will cheer my team on tonight win or loose.
