Took the girls out tonight. Robin, Lou, and Pearl. Robin hasnt been out for over 2 weeks being in heat, she's almost out now. Sent her by herself on a ditch. She fooled around on a bad track for a bit and about the time I had enough and was going to give her some encouragement to move on she went about a half and got treed with the meat. Sent Lou and Pearl in, they struck fast and went about 400 yards and came on it right. But they had a big den. Sent Lou by herself sounded like a colder track she got treed with a big sow. Lou's a classy tree dog. When she locates and starts choppin she ain't going no where. After that we called it a short night and went home. Plannin on taking a couple to columbus' hunt this coming weekend not sure which ones yet.

But we are going. Taking Lou and Robin.
Been tuff over this way for the last three or four nights. Smoke, Lou and Robin are getting it done but it sure aint pretty. Pearl has been improving and with a little more hunting will be ready for the hunts soon.

Roy we have had some tough hunts to, caught the coons out moving early just before the front moved in the other night, Shelly treed 2 we got both of them and called it a night, the wind was picking up fast and hard, she did a good job on those 2 though, hope your hunting picks up, we have been hitting them at dusk dark and having better tracks, they are feeding early right now.......... Tim, the only luck I had last night was bad luck. Danny brownie and I went to columbus. none of us did any good. I took Lou. Dad stayed home and took the grandsons hunting. He treed one on the outside and one in a den. One of the boys climbed the tree and looked in the hole. The coon was in there. He just hunted robin by herself. Said she looked good on the first one and the second one just a fair job. Danny said he needed some sun screen the moon was so bright. Lol

Mark they are treeing but they just can't keep up with the old dogs on track yet. I think alot of it has to do with them being only 6 weeks old. haha We will get together next week and take them hunting and you can see for your self. Might even throw in one of the old dogs and see if they will do any good.
Hows Pscyo doing? Keep him in the timber and he will tree you a truck load of coon.
Next week I'll throw in Lou for you to hunt for a while. Lou and Pscyo will wear you out in about a week.
I'll talk to Tim and see what night will work for him the best and we will go for a short one...........Roy

Went to altoona ks for the ukc hunt tonight. Robin won her cast but didnt have enough for the nitech win. She looked decent. Did some things I liked and a few I didnt. Congrats to Gene Minors dog Jo for getting the nitech win. This week the hunting was pretty good got out every night except fri night. Robin and her mom Lou have done a lot of good things this week. Hopefully next week doesnt get to cold and nasty.

with Brownie and his dad. They had their two black dogs foxy and cash, we took robin, lou and drizz. Hunted robin and foxy on the first dump and they got treed with two in the top of a cedar. Hunted Lou and cash on the next dump and lou put one up in short order 200 yrds from the truck. Cash is a year old and is going to be a super nice Black and Tan that flat gets on the wood.Next dump it was robin, drizz and cash. Hit a good track but ended up bogging down befor they crossed the road and put it in a den. It was getting late and I had to get up early for work so I left them and they headed for another dump.

Well Roy we hunted Robin, Drizz and Fox on the last dump. Drizz got hung up in a drift on the river. The other 2 worked down oppsite sides of the river and they split and each had a coon. That made 4 good size boar last night. We took a picture back at the shop, Im sure Tim will have it up later on if sis dosent have him to busy today.
