Johnny mine out of that litter was useless wouldn't fire a shot he is no longer with us I hated him there was one other like that to there is three thats like yours that all they want to do is run but there is two that is above average good tree coon real well very nice young dogs I don't know about the rest it was a big litter I am not sure where all they went the first litter there was four all four of them will tree I think one is kinda junky but an awsome tree dog is what i've been told and all of them are good tree dogs Big River Cindy (1st cross) is an outstanding young dog treed coons at a very early age natural nice female Jesse Lee was a natural treed coon at a very early age Indian Ridge Cindy ( there mom) was kind of a late bloomer but got real nice after she got older (over 2yrs) is what I am told I myself ain't that patient they either click early once hunted or they don't fair out so well around hear I always look at it like this would you ever want a pup out of it if the answer is no well you know!! Lifes short good dogs eat the same amount of feed as a bad one's everybody wants there's to make it but the simple truth is very few do no matter who there out of or what so called great cross they come from!!!! Hope this helps don't mean to be so long winded..One other thing the kind I strive for here normally are above average from the start and move forward fast not backwards I do not tolerate back slids at any age I've personally hunted the guts out of several very young dogs belive me the goodones can take it!!! If I find one I like by the time it's 1yr old it has been hunted ALOT by it's self and treed and had a MANY of coon in it's mouth it's not just a me tooing idiot that barks treed and looks pretty they may have other problems needing addressed but going and getting treed and staying by there self wont be one of them!!! Lots of people strive for whole litters that will tree so they can sell pups I look for THE SPECIAL ONE out of the litter normally litters where they all TREE them type pups typically will finish out to be common at best and not be a top dog ( Big Winner ) in the bunch or at least thats how i've seen it in my past experience's??? JMO not the gospel!!! I will never hunt nothing that I wouldn't want to have a pup out of!!!
