okay i sent out the bloodhounds and found Bond last night, he went to a meeting on the Virginia Game Commision Land at Wytheville Community College last night and stired up the horse people. Seems they are wanting desinated trails to ride, all Wendell said was he had to pay to be able to use the area with licence fee's and some horse lady went off on him. Well we all know how Wendell doesnt like to stir the pot...hate I wasnt there to hear it all. We may go to Floyd tonight and hunt in their night hunt, havent made up our mind just yet, may just pleasure hunt suppose to be nice weather

For the likes of me I dont understand some folks. The horse woman want public land all to herself and other horse people and be able to use it for free. Hunters and fisherpeople have to buy extra licences to be able to share public land or even use private land. Several years ago Mitchell Co. built an arena for the Horse people to use, now dont get me wrong this is mainly for grown up horse peoples.

OK I'll get off the stump now, just tired of seeing people with their hand out wanting freebies that I have to help pay for so they can enjoy their hobbies.

SORRY I did not get on yest. SO BUSY going to the hosp. in Boston and just TOO TIRED last night!
FIRST... thanks for all the PRAYERS and GOOOD NEWS! Mum just out of procedure and it looks GOOD! SHe has some small ulcers in the small intestine, probably aspirin related and will be able to stay on her blood thinners etc!
I had a nice visit with her last night and got her to drink that nasty stuff to empty her out... poor thing... by the time I left the toilet was her best friend...and they were going to dose her again at 10 pm! Oldest sister will be going in soon and I will be going in once Dylan is home to be with the dog. Having a seizure dog is like having a disabled family member! Can't leave him home alone! At least we wont get robbed with someone always here... also helps to have a BIG scary 85 lb TALL yellow eyed black and tan watch dog hound... lol...
SO... the next few days are going to be WILD... and I may NOT get on here for a few days. I ALMOST had Bob get on yesterday to let you all know I was and my Mum was FINE... cause I left with no heads up to y'all!
My mum is so appreciative of your prayers! She is a wonderful, odd woman... THe nurses all love her. She has been such an inspiration for me. She taught me KINDNESS and even in the hospital she's more concerned about others... I'm so HAPPY she will be fine... Treasured time to spend with my elderly mum...
SO... have a great day and I'll be in touch WHEN I can get the time! THANKS for ALL the PRAYERS!!! Heather

Wendell and I are both right there with you...not so long ago we lost several acres of hunting land in the "National Forest" for mountain bikers and horse trails all of whom have not had to nor are still not required to buy a national forest stamp if they use the resource. i dont have anything at all against these people but it really gets under my skin that i have bought licences and stamps all my life and they are taking resources of mine that I help pay for and give to those who havent paid a penny to use, I will now get off my stump before I get anymore mouthy

BACK SEVERAL YEARS AGO [I THINK IT WAS WHEN THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT SELLING SOME OF THE FOREST LAND TO RAISE MONEY] THERE WASA CALL IN RADIO SHOW ON THAT SUBJECT.
I CALLED IN SUGGESTED THEY MAKE EVERY ONE THAT USES NATIONAL FOREST BUY A N/F STAMP LIKE WE DO. MAN YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT I ASK THEM TO GIVE UP THIER FRIST BORN.
IT WAS HORSE PEOPLE , BIRD WATCHERS, HIKERS, JUST GENERAL PUBLIC.
