Been thinking about Cowboy x Maggie cross. I hear Cowboy is a good one and a good mouth and treedog. Tim you have hunted with Maggie so you know the type of hound she is. Just running things through my mind. Living in town sucks hard to raise a litter of pups that is for sure.
She is due to breed Wed - Saturday I just haven't made my mind up completely. I figure my finish her to Dual Grand then raise another litter. She is full litter mate to Ron Parkers Dual Grand female.

Maggie is a real nice hound that came from a line of real nice hounds. She definitely has a lot to offer the breed, no matter who she is bred to. Thanks for thinking about Cowboy, the young dogs out of him, that are old enough to hunt, are sure turning some heads. Give me a holler and we will try to get out..........Tim

Won't be able to make it up to Eldon this weekend, the body just won't let me do it. Paul and Dean Ring will be there with a nice pair of hounds. Paul will be hunting his Perculator female (Dual Grand Astro x GR NT AT-A-Girl). Dean will be hunting his MR Blue dog, Blue is a grandson of John II on the top side and a grand son of B&D Spike on the bottom side

Talked to Don Urban (Neb) and he is planning on being here Sat. We plan to get some serious BS ing done, maybe go tree a coon and get his NT CH GO-GET-HER female bred to Cowboy. Should be a good cro0ss, both dogs hunt hard, get treed and stay treed and will usually have the meat. They don't have to have another dog grab them by the collar and take them hunting. I will post her ped later..........Tim

Big thanks for the food and hospitality for the night. Drive back to Nebraska went good. Been out fishing the last couple of days, Crappie bites been picking up. Still frustrated I forgot my jar of Salsa! Keep you updated on the pups.

I have hunted with Get Her many times and have seen her tree just about any kind of coon. She has a good bawl mouth on track and a good solid chop on tree. Really looking forward to this cross. If you will send me a copy of her 3 gen ped I will post it on here...........Tim

Take a look at how Cowboy is bred, an awful lot of "Top 10 ers" in there, current and past. A dog reproduces his ancestors and you can't get much better than the dogs that came together to produce Cowboy. "It's In The Blood"..........Tim

Paul won 1st last night with his Perculator female (Astro x At-A-Girl). Paul said she looked pretty good 650+ 0-, on 3 singles.

If Paul's other females papers come in from ukc today he plans on hunting her, he calls her Lee (GR NT Frank Jr x GR NT Jazz). She is a nice female also...........Tim

Larry and John Carlin stopped by Sunday afternoon for a visit and give me some hunt news. A young man from ARK hunted Little Turk in a hunt down there last weekend and won 2nd, that finished him with 2 1sts and 1 2nd, Turk was a CH with 2 or 3 wins. He is a nice little dog that will definitely get deep and alone. Little Turk is from GR NT CH PR Smokey River Mad Dog John II X Dual Grand Abbie owned by Darren and Tye Batterson. Keep an eye on this dog, he already has Grand pups that are running and treeing.............Tim

Sounds like Cowboy is getting his turn in the breeding pen, John II has some nice grand pups winning in the hunts and there will be more,

Tim it's not yet been realized the mark old Turk has and is still leaving on the breed, this will be realized by a whole lot more as time goes on....Gerald

Most of Cowboy's pups are real young, the ones that are old enough to get hunted are doing good, they like to tree. Cowboy has had some very nice females bred to him and has some good females booked to be bred. It will be a year or two before the Cowboy pups have a real chance to impact the Breed ..........Tim

You can shut off the water any time NOW! Monday morning I dumped one and eight tenths out of the gauge. This morning I dumped another eight tenths out and when I got home around one thirty I had another six tenths and it is still raining. God is good...Doug

Big Brother went to Michigan over the weekend to deliver a couple of pups and to hunt with Dale Imhof and Kenny Herman. Paul said that he had a great time and was treated like Royalty. Paul had some comments on the mosquito's, best not repeat them. Paul said that Dale, Dale's Son and Kenny Herman sure have some nice young dogs, tree-dogs that hunt hard, get treed and stay treed.
