What a day in Maryland! Just for the the fun of it Hunter put Dozer in the show. It was the 1st time either of them had been in a show. They come out of it with a best of show! Then came the hunt. At the end of the night Hunter and Dozer ended up "2014 Maryland State Youth Champion" with a score of 300+

I would like to thank everyone for all the support for my wins.

I would especially like to thank the Cecil County Coonhunters for putting on such a fun event at there club😃. From the fishing to the BB gun shoot and the show and hunt everyone was having a great time. I would love to go back again!!!!

I would also love to thank my dad for taking me to the hunt, I really love you!!!😃

i have been getting to hunt crusher 2 or 3 nights a week he is doing a great job he will split from dogs and have a coon he is doing great on his own he has a monster mouth he has a big bawl on the ground then a big loud chop on the tree he is by far the best young dog i have ever had i couldn't ask for more i wanna thank Bengie for putting pups out there that are well worth your time

Trixie has been sold. She is heading to Iowa.

Not much else to report right now. Jr had an injury and is finally gonna be ready for the woods. Between work, putting a new kitchen in, and coaching Hunters softball team there hasn't been much time to get in the woods. I'm gonna hit it tonight and turn some dogs loose.

Hoe looked awsome made 3 trees in about 45 minutes and had 3 coon.guys I would not overlook Dozer as your next stud dog.

I'm sad to report that Tracy's female Rosie did not have any live pups. She was a couple days past her due date so Tracy took her to the vet. After doing a. C-section they discovered that the pups were still born. This is a huge disappointments to Tracy and myself. We felt that these were gonna be some special pups.

I want to give a BIG CONGRATS to Rod and Hoe on there 2nd place win. Keep up the great work.

It was a good night here in Ohio also. I took Choo Choo and Dozer out last night for a couple drops. Dozer treed 2 coon. Choo Choo got 1st strike on both drops and treed pretty good on the first tree. This is only her 6th time in the woods and she's only ever seen 2 caged coon. She is showing a ton of natural ability and has a huge mouth. I think Hunter might of lucked out and got one of those special ones that we all hope for.



The clock is ticking!!! More Dozer pups are gonna be hitting the ground, it's time to make a choice!!! You can either hunt a Dozer pup or have to hunt against one. Choose wisely.

Choo Choo has just come into heat as well as my female beagle, so we're gonna put a theory to a test. Ruby is not due to come into heat yet but I have moved her in the kennel so that she is between both females that are in heat in an attempt to bring her in.

I spoke with Nick Hurst in WV. Due to his work schedule he is not able to hunt. I may be taking a road trip to get Crusher back. From what Nick says, Crusher is the real deal. Big mouth, good track dog, and exceptionally good about having a coon when he trees.

I still have not been hunting like I want to. Coaching Hunters softball and the kitchen rebuild have taken up most of my time. Both are almost done so I will be hitting it hard real soon.

Ruby has come in heat!!!!!! Either it worked placing her between the other females that were in heat, or the timing was just right. Either way, she's in heat and will be getting breed to Dozer next weekend

I spoke with Nick the other night and he has decided to keep Crusher.

Ruby will be breed to Dozer this weekend. I have very high expectations for this cross. They should be some go hunting, Big mouth, coon treer's.

As soon as Choo Choo is out of heat she will be heading back to the woods. This female has shown me more natural ability then any hound I have ever turned loose. I can't wait to see how she how she finishes out.
