Tim good to talk to you the other night and see the pic of the little man. That is a very impressive line of females breed to Bean. Must be doing something right. I am getting fired up and ready for the temperture to cool off so a can get the Bean Shaker in the swamps. Got to have him ready for you to hunt with when you come down to the Grand American.

I injoy talking with you Larry, An we have had a blast this week with Grayson But i wont you to know my butt is draging, He is out of the bed at 7:15 am an non stop till 10:00 pm an then i go to the woods an make a drop or two but i wouldnt miss a min of it, Well got to go we are going to the Fair an he said POP its time to go.. Put Clyde in another hunt this past Saturday night with the wind blowing ~30mph. We scored 3 coons. I shut the other dogs out on the track on the last drop and all I needed was to see a coon and I had it won but we couldn't see up the tree too well and ended up circling it after the hunt time was out. I've had him in three hunts and he's finished plus points each time. His time is coming as soon as his handler can catch up!

I hunted him Monday night and he treed a single by himself and then a double by himself with other dogs running up and down the creek and hollow making all sorts of noise! The other dog wouldn't tree but was running for all it was worth. Clyde was locked on the wood and wasn't budging both times. I think he's going to be pretty stay-put and sure seems pretty independent for a young dog. He will back a dog but is pretty slow to pull on a tree if it isn't right.

I hunted him last night and we treed a single right off. On the next drop he ran about 200 yards and fell treed. We walked in and he had a bear up the tree by himself! The bear didn't stick around too long and jumped out just after I caught Clyde. We dropped them again on the other side of the hollow. He went back and checked the area where the bear was, then dropped off in a river bottom and struck, drove a track up the river and crossed and treed in a big den with another dog. He's looking better and better every night! He will be there before too long. He is about to turn 16 months old and with kill season coming in next weekend I think he's just start to really hit his prime.

I'm going to hunt him in a PKC hunt this coming week. He is getting to be pretty action packed and I think he'll be hard to hang with in a 1 hour hunt.
