I get chill bumps thinking about that cross and Diesle is a great specimen of a hound. I seen pictures of the pups great heads.I can`t wait to see what kind of reproducer he s gonna be.these pups ought to be Loud Loud. the running gear should be super on them I would have to say if they turn out like I think. it will take a real man or two and prolly two pick up trucks to run one down.Just kidding you never know.

I want to say Thank You to Tom Jennings for going with me to get Tree Daddy vet checked.he did get one tooth pulled and he put him on some antibotics.gonna try to get the ol fella semen checked in two weeks. I know Tree Daddy loves being in the house and is making a real house dog.
Thanks for all the calls and hopefully I ll be posting some new pictures in a few.

Kid x Angel. Angel is off of Legend and Lou.

The three at the top of the picture is the three males. this is a second time cross and this cross doubles Tree Daddy up.

One male and two female`s not spoken for.Contact Ken Hitchcock phone number is 989-619-2844.
I`ll be making a trip up to ken`s soon to get my pup. I will haul pups back down to ohio if you make arrangements with ken prior to me getting there and pick up your puppy in a timely manner from me.The three pups from the first cross started quick and seem to have great mouths and conformation on them.

Ol Buckeye had another good nite last nite all alone no other dogs in the woods ran 1 cross the river and treed another

Matt somehow I missed this cross, Appels echo, was out of Jet 5's Northern Blue Sky, she was out of jet 5 and Jazz, Which was an Awesome Cross, Bill owned 2 of them, Jazzy and Jetty, and of course Ch.Nt.Ch. Smokin' Guns Blue Jazz' Echo. what happened to the rest of Buckeyes littermates, Jake Appels Echo Female and The Dixie female was and are super nice and reproduce.

Hi Shane,they were only 2 pups Tree Daddy couldnt knot her.only one male and female.Buckeye acts real good a natural he tend s to get split alot and is good about having a coon.

I`m proud to say the ELLIS BLUE JIM PUPS have arrived.4 males and 1 female.penny has a cold nose on her and I feel this cross should be cold nosed and be able to run a track to catch.should be well balanced hard tree dogs. I ve been like a kid in a candy store waiting on this cross.

I want to Thank everyone for the calls.As I look back at my notes and the six generation papers this cross should be a great one.John Gill loves to hunt and likes natural starters like my self.I can say the home work has been done now lets see if the genetics kick in.I know my pup will prolly live in the house.I`ll get more pics up when John sends them to me.
I really like the Fly x Diesle cross also. Like i said before Diesle is a great specimen of a hound. can`t wait to see how this litter turns out also.

This was the biggest coon Tree Daddy treed 31.5 this coon tapped trees and ran like a fox many nights and a few good hounds got the blame for running a fox when it was this ol bore.

Hi Dan, good hearing from you,I came down with the flu last thursday and been down ever since. just now feeling good enough to take a ride in the truck.first time I ventured out was today.
I will tell you that ol coon caused a few good hounds to get a little switching.funny thing was after Tree Daddy treed him the fox races disappeared..gotta love it. Ted Larger had it tanned and give it to me.nice keep sake. Ted shot it with a 17 hmr. raskel still came out alive I seen how big it was and knew the fight was on. biggest ohio coon for me.

good hearing from you ,that flu went through our house too seemed like it would never leave. glad your feeling better. its memories like those of tree daddy and that " fox hunt" that makes coon hunting so pleasurable. once you got him. some guys would have ruined a few good dogs swearing it was a fox race. take care matt hope to see you at ashland.

Made the trip to John Gills to pick up my Diesle and Fly pup and Pick out a pup off of EBJ and Penny.Nice pups the decision was a tough one as all the pups are on the very nice side.when I was picking the pups up and choosing I realized just how Lucky I was and wonder what s going to envolve with this cross.three males and two female s and it was really hard not choosing a female to carry on the next generation.
I have a real nice hound that suits me as well as any that i`ve had here in Billy The Kid and I have a few out of Kid that has my attn.also. Always room for one more.I`ll try to get a few pics of my new male pup.
Thanks John for making this cross,I feel it should be a powerful cross time will tell I really like the one that came home with me.

Matt your right. I guys have not ran a boar like this and treed it they wouldn't know. We have one down here that can fun a flat 1.5 circle and dogs can't get him treed. We stood by a road culbert and he he came and a couple minutes later here came the hounds in hot pursuit. We could have killed him in the culbert be we let him live. Its fun to run him when you get on him. Guys that don't trust their dogs will shock them every time. We just laugh. He is good to start pups on if we get him up and running.

We had one like that up north and he would run way out on a ditch through a big woods and come right back to the area and end up on a den.I asked the guys not to kill him he was a good pup trainer also.ran him many nights.

Elmo,I`m not sure on what day i`m heading that way.I will most likely go to John Gill`s and pleasure hunt with John coulple days early and mabe catch a mess of crappie.not sure where the good hotels are around Holmesville.I would love to show you my hounds.I`m about 3 hours from Holmesville I`ll know more when it gets closer.I have the week off.mabe I`ll try to set some hunts up here at the house the week of Bluetick Days.

She looks alot like her Momma. Nice picture of her.I bet Frost and Big Jim off of Stinger and Midge will be a nice cross down the road.
Dave,you have two nice females with Frost and Super Fly,both will cross great with Big Jim.keep us posted on the Jim and Fly `s pups. Thanks for posting Frost s picture.

Dodger is out of Tree Daddy and Philp Whitley`s Eli

I did remember to get my camera out tonight.Here is another new addition.Direct out of Tree Daddy.he`s been hunted very lightly and he could use 90 days in a row in the timber.he has all the tools to be a good one.big strong hound and a good voice.seems to have a good nose and uses the air he gets his mouth open and a big baby.
