Thought I would share a short video of a 6 month 1 week old female out of Gauge and NTCH Clinch Mountain Rain.
This was her 3rd or 4th night in the woods and she treed her own coon alone!!! Robert said that she didn't know what to think when the branches starting breaking!!!!!!LOL

Luke Jesse sure looks good up on the wood, can't wait for the weather to break so we can hit the timber, we will have to get some pictures of the littermates together and yes Kevin I will call you to come over and hunt with us.
This cross seems to have worked well with Gauge the dogs out of this cross are nice ones, i know I sure like mine!!!

Getting some real nice reports on the Gauge X Clinch Mountain Rain cross. The pup in South Carolina did a text book job last night on her first trip to the woods. Sure glad the owners are happy and I will post the videos when they arrive. This female sank in by herself, ran, located with 3 bawls and treed right.
6 months 3 weeks old.

Rain is out of McGuiness Big Bue Jake and a Smokey River Tramp female.
Weather is supposed to break this week we are going to cut recon loose!!! Wish us luck and i will let you know how far he had to go!!!!

LOL...He doesn't blow through the country but you better bring a good pair of walking shoes, with sole inserts, if the coon aren't moving. He doesn't mind getting deep.

Took Tommy along with alice tonite for his first nite out in the timber. I've been waiting for the weather to break and it has. Tommy went the distance with Alice and treed up pretty good as I was walking into the tree. I got him a bit fired up a few minutes later. He's a nice pup. Here ya go Kevin!!

I'm real excited about these two pups. Can't wait till dark to get here. I took Kink out last nite also and he went the distance and treed up nice. Ended on a den and camera at the truck. PR. Blue Creeks Colonel Kink! Second nite in the woods and he wanted to let me know he has what it takes. Hunted him and Alice and they treed in short order out of a picked cornfield and had the coon. Kink was wanting to get it on so I tied Alice back and let him have at it. The wind was a blowin 35 miles per hour plus so I came home after the first drop.
