Hunted with D J Ferrell and his Young male sired by John II on Friday Night at the Get-together at the Bunkhouse. Rowdy is 7 mos old and got off by himself and treed a coon, he looked good.

It was no accident because he did the same thing on Saturday night. He is not afraid to get treed.......Tim

Great pic. If everybody that has these Mad Dog pups can keep them in the woods they will rock the hunts this next year. Last night Timmy took Froggie, Lincoln,and Ryder out and treed three singles. He said that Lincoln treed one by himself and really blew the top out. These Mad Dog pups are a blast to hunt! Agin thank you for the good time and great get togather at the bunkhouse.

Timmy and I hunted the old dog and two pups ( Lincoln and Gabbie) and I needed to call you about midnight to get you to turn on my tracking system and tell me where they went. The old dog got clean out of the country on us and I told Timmy we were hunting the old fashion way........ NO TRACKING SYSTEM.....
Gabbie didn't do much except bother Lincoln. Lincoln winded a coon and ended up running it backwards, I found the coon and stayed there while Timmy went after him. Right before they got back the coon bailed out and Lincoln opened up and burnt him up but ended making a loose about a 1/4 mi. in, still not bad for a 8mo. old pup. Man is he loud. He acts more like a 1 1/2 to 2 yr. old than a puppy. He is getting better on track and don't need much more tree power.

Tim, that little male pup, chopper is sure gonna be a tree dog, he got after the cat this morning, and treed him on top of my truck, he was spittin them out around 100 bpm, lol...he will tree hard on bacon grease too, lol ....

I will try to get your tracking system to you as soon as possible, I don't know how we ever got along without them back in the day. We must have used a lot more gas in those days......Tim

Magic is the darkest female that has been bred to Turk, this is the only litter that he has thrown a black and white pup, go figure. Doug Lynn has a female that is a littermate to yours that is as dark as Magic. There was only two pups in the litter......Tim

I would like to thank you for selling me the Magic pup. I have been working her a little bit now and she catchs on very quickly what I'm trying to get her to do. Infact she is progressing faster than old Brandy. It scares me to think that she might be smarter than me. thanks again .......Doug

I had a good hunt this weekend by myself, just took the pups out. The first night made two dumps and never even got a bark. The coon seemed to be laid up. The next night I took Froggie and my 8mo. old Ryder pup made two den trees, still wasn't very good night. I'm going out to night hopeto beat the winter storm comming in.

Hunted at Stigler, OK Sat night. Cleo looked good just could not get into any coon. Caught 1 coon on ground. I was going to hunt Zip but after talking to Friday Night hunters and the terrain I decided that Zip might be a little hard to handle. No reverse, not many coon and 17 degrees just don't make for an enjoyable hunt.........Tim

Thats been my problem here, cold, windy and the coon are not moving. This is pretty hard on the pups going by themselves. They still have a hard time on a cold track and they are pretty tight anyway. We have just about quit hunting the old dog with them since he seems to get off by himself so much, and this leaves them to do it on their own anyway.

Wasn't any better. The pups are hunting out good trying to work some old cold tracks but they end up treeing a few blanks and some dens. The weather has just turned for the worse here , rain, sleet and some snow flurries. The temps are dropping and it's going to be +2 in the morning. Might have to stay in for a spell.

Hope they have a warm cabin to sit around and drink coffee in. I can tree alot of coon just sittin and blowin. The only warm place that i've seen on the weather map is Brownville Texas and it was 68 deg. Thats a long way to go just to hunt in sand and burrs.

Had a good hunt Sat night, Paul hunted Big Boy ( GR NT Joker and Hazel Hill female), Jeff Grant hunted LU LU (GR NT Frank Jr and GR NT Smokey River Ann) and I hunted Cleo. We treed some coon and the dogs looked good. Jeff's female is really nice she should finish quick in the hunts.......Tim

Have been getting some interesting call the last few weeks. Pups treeing house cats at 10wks, treeing hides at 10wk-12wk, treeing drags at 10 wks old and treeing live coon in the wild at 5 mos. Most of these pups have been sired by John II, thats because most of the females that we bred were bred to John II this year. Those females that we owned will be bred to Joker and Zip this year.......Tim

Had a good hunt with Phil Vogel and Alex (R J ). Alex had his young dog Bubba (Rattler X Jetta) I took Lady and Phil had Jetta along to keep the young dogs in line. We made a couple "FUTURE" Den Trees and treed a coon with the young dogs and then we turned Jetta loose and made a "REAL" den tree and treed another coon. There was very little scent on the ground and it didn't take the young dogs long to find a tree......Tim

Somebody with one of these pups is going to rock the world in the night hunts next year! Timmy and I decided to name our John and Ruby pup, Mad Dog Ruby Tuesday. Do you think I can get the resturant chain to sponsor us? I need to get with you and get my tracker if I'm going to be hunting Old Rooster with the pups. Cold nights like this will more than likely get an old coon runnin for the hills.

Doug Linn came by for a hunt tonight, he brought his pup out of Misty and Turk, she did good for the first time in the woods. She went out a ways and she took hold of her first coon, we were back home by 8:30, had a good hunt.

I am supposed to tell the Humbolt Guys tha that Doug can still shoot a pistol, 1 shot 1 coon dead..........Tim
