Texas County Revrend and Spring Creek Preacher are the Preacher sons she goes back to. There are a few preacher daughters but cant rember right now.

I have not seen the bear dog. She has a squal bawl on track and a chop/ bawl on tree. She is young but is making the right kind. She is a mixture of preacher/mundo jr. / finley river.

I have a six month old male heavy preacher and if he makes a dog could be ( from what I know ) 28 shots of preacher in 8 generations.

Delta Nightlife... that is pure beauty. White tip on tail, back legs colored up right with a little white covering a couple of toes, white ring around the neck, and graceful on the tree. Only one problem as I see it, she should be in Cary, NC instead of Cary, MS...lol

Could Of Happend !!

It has always been My opinion that somewhere behind Ozark Preacher was a Trigg foxhound . A very good friend of mine {Herschal Jenkens } raised Trigg's for many years right here in Mid. Mo. so I've seen a lot of them. Hershel told Me that if they got after a grey fox and it went up a leaning tree most of his dogs would tree . A lot of people will say Preacher looked like a Trigg but his traits were not foxhound like so I have this idea. Lets pretend we're on a foxhunt and ole Ring [good name for a trigg huh ] proves once again that he just ain't got what it takes to make a stayer in the race but this time on the way back in he happend to tree something from that point on for the rest of His life He was a treedog !!!! I don't know about You but I think ole Ring sounds exactly like Preacher ! Is it not likely that a dog like Ring even though a cull foxhound could be behind our beloved Ozark Preacher

Oh boy looking at those Preacher pup's heads ol Style came out of the wood pile!!! Good luck with those pups!! I have hunted with Chic's Style many times at different times of his life. Coondog from the start. I owned Preacher and had him here for a couple months this winter. He is a coondog. Jay won alot of casts with that old dog. Luck with ol Preach let him live a long life. Trump 3X dang Don Sawyer wouldn't beleave it.

pedigree info.

I'm always interested in what bloodlines cross well with each other especially when Ole Preacher was part of the mix . If Your interested in My experience I'll tell You . My Reverand dog was the best and He was out of a Minklers Kansas Rock female , My Tanner dog was also a top hound and He was out of a Mackey's Spike female , two of My direct sons of Preacher would be next one was out of a Finley River Joe female the other one was out of a Ganns Finisher Jr. female . I crossed all these dogs on various House bred females. I guess My best cross would have been the Tanner dog on My daughter of Hopkins Cash. One funny thing here would be that I had two daughters of Cash one a much better coondog than the other, but My best pups came from the lesser female ! I hope to hear what all You other Guys think on this subject.
