Morn'n went from 19 to 70's at night in less then a week. Sleeping with windows open again. Started raining Sat at dark and hasnt stopped yet. 4 inches as of this morn'n. Add that to the 3 we got last Tuesday and it is starting to get wet. Suppose to hang around till Wednesday night but the main part is suppose to be headed ya'lls way.

Killed my first copperhead Saturday at the store. It was under a bucket I had over a wrapped up water spigot.

An older man approached an attractive younger woman at a shopping mall. ''Excuse me; I can't seem to find my wife. Can you talk to me for a couple of minutes?''

The woman, feeling a bit of compassion for the old fellow, said, ''Of course, sir. Do you know where your wife might be?''

''I have no idea, but every time I talk to a woman built like you, she seems to appear out of nowhere.''

A kindergarten teacher handed out a coloring page to her class.
On it was a picture of a duck holding an umbrella. The teacher told her class to color the duck in yellow and the umbrella green, however, Johnny, the class rebel, colored the duck in a bright fire truck red.
After seeing this, the teacher asked him, "Johnny, how many times have you seen a red duck?"
Young Johnny replied with, "The same number of times I've seen a duck holding an umbrella."

HOW TO RECRUIT THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB?

Put about 100 bricks in some Particular order in a closed Room with an Open window.

Then send 2 or 3 candidates in the room and close the door.

Leave them alone and come back after 6 hours and then analyze the situation.

If they are counting the Bricks.
Put them in the accounts Department.

If they are recounting them..
Put them in auditing ..

If they have messed up the whole place with the bricks.
Put them in engineering.

If they are arranging the Bricks in some strange order.
Put them in planning.

If they are throwing the Bricks at each other.
Put them in operations .

If they are sleeping.
Put them in security.

If they have broken the bricks Into pieces.
Put them in information Technology.

If they are sitting idle.
Put them in human resources.

If they say they have tried different combinations, yet not a brick has been moved.
Put them in sales.

If they have already left for the day.
Put them in marketing…

If they are staring out of the window.
Put them on strategic Planning..

And then last but not least.

If they are talking to each other and not a single brick has been moved.

Congratulate them and put them In Top management

Hello Friends!

Prayers to all!

Nice pix and bucks! Great article with a reddawg that made Bob and myself think of the 70s following our beloved lil reddawg buddy, Sheba... Great jokes too!
Weekend was good and mum and I got some stuff done even. At one point I was feeling a bit stressed and needed a break so I looked out the window and BOOM! THere was a pretty and BIG ROSEBUD! It was cool to see in the COLD!
Supposed to have a few inches of snow on Wed. We'll be paking PECAN pies and pumpkin pies and be INSIDE so WHO CARES? lol.. They are making it into a big deal on the news of course..and there will be gridlock on the big travel day. It was around 60 today here and MAN did it pour and MAN did the wind HOWL! Of course it was dry when I first went out to get the trash and recycle bins...and then it poured again..LOL...
Watching Bruins vs the Penguins... tonight OF COURSE I'm routing for our Bs... not the guins! LOL.. SO far I"m not doing the greatest job... our Bruins not the best this yr... GAG! THen again our even more local Pats are doing OK During the game Sun. it was SO COOL to see my neighbor across the St on tv...LOL.. I called Bob and he rewound the dvr to see him. We still have NO CLUE what his job is!
Hope you all have a Good Night and look forward to some more DEER pix!
HAPPYHUNTING Heather
