Kurt Bush, Kyle Bush, Harvick, were all fast in practice today. Jimmie was 10th I think. Gordon was quick also. Qualifying is at 1:00pm tomorrow on FS1.

Dinger has the pole for the race today that's about to go green. Would like to see him get the win.
I heard that NASCAR has jumped on the politically correct wagon with the rest of this country and now they are going to ban the Confederate Flag, from the infield for sure and all over the race grounds if they can. A Southern Sport taking away a Southern Heritage. I don't have one flying at my house or in the back window of my pickup truck like some do BUT, I don't have a problem with those who do or a gay that wants to fly his rainbow flag at his house or his parade. As this goofy country cries out for more rights and freedoms it comes at a cost to others losing their rights and freedoms. When they caught that goofball that killed those 9 innocent black people in S. C. and knew without a doubt that he committed the crime, he should have been put in front of a firing squad and they should put that on TV for the world to see, not put on the circus that's coming with his trail, that's why sick people do these type things, the attention. And we give up our Gun Rights, Southern Heritage, and our way of life continues to change not because of a few goofballs but because of the way our leaders choose to handle these sick, twisted people. Sorry for the rant but I'm sick and tired of seeing the way this country is headed. NASCAR has shot it self in the foot with this and I feel two things will happen, 10 times as many flags will fly in DEGA and other Southern tracks OR people will quit coming. Then NASCAR will see how much the " OTHER " people like NASCAR.

Caution just came out and Jimmie had moved up and was running 4th before it came out. JR is also top 10. Jimmie really looks strong.

Halfway through the race and Jimmie Johnson is your leader. If he don't have tire trouble he is going to be hard to beat. Very fast, great handling car.

ROWDY, Kyle Bush gets the much needed win! His brother Kurt was 3rd, Harvick 4th, Jimmie 6th and JR. 7th, A late caution and everyone ducked down pit road behind Jimmie and they got fresh tires and Jimmie couldn't hold them off. Good race and I wish they would put it in the Chase next year.

I haven't heard about JR's remarks, I will look that up and see what he said. I am like you, makes me disgusted with Nascar too. About the only reason I keep a TV on at the house was for the racing. Weather Channel is all about Climate Change and anything far left. News is always depressing. Outdoor hunting shows are full of commercial's and there is Never anything on worth watching or I'm out hunting anyway. Sounds like I will be saving 80 bucks a month when I pull the plug on Nascar. Plus all the money I spent going to the races.

NBC just started their coverage of Nascar this week. They dropped Donald Trump over his comments about illegal Mexicans. So that's one of the reasons Nascar is banning the Confederate Flag, don't want to be dropped by NBC and don't want Sponsor's to pull out so they caved to political correctness, money and power. Heard Nascar is falling out with Trump as well.
I enjoyed every trip we took just to see the excitement on my Grandsons face when we were at the track but Mason is just as happy here on the river swimming with the pups or chunking rocks with Paw Paw. I truly believe I have made my last race.

If Watson does that every fan in the stand should get up and leave. If they let that happen and I see it on TV, I will NOT watch the race and will be done with NASCAR 4-ever. Spend my time fishing, hunting or playing with the Grandkids.

My wife looked it up and said Dale JR. won the race. Funny thing happened two hours before the race here at the house. You know how I was talking about unplugging from DIRECTV? Well, the Good Lord took care of it yesterday evening with a shot of lighting. At 4pm we had some bad thunderstorms roll through and lighting hit the dish I guess as both DIRECTV boxes popped in the house and a couple light bulbs blew out. So we didn't get to watch the race. Told the wife that was our sign what to do with the TV. Any of yaw watch it and did the General Lee come out with the Confederate Flag painted over?

Wife got me this picture off Facebook. Austin Dillon airborne into the catch fence at the finish line at end of race. Looks like Hamlin got turned by Harvick started it all. Haven't heard how many fans were hurt but it had to be a few as there was a huge hole in the fence when it was all over.
Skeets, I agree with you about political correctness. They give some the " SPACE " to Riot and Loot as they take away our Southern Heritage, Gun Rights, Hunting Rights, ect.

Mason and I watched some highlights from the Kentucky race yesterday and when he realized they had already raced in Kentucky he looked at me and said, " But we were supposed to go back to Kentucky Paw Paw " and just hung his little head down. I told him we went last year but didn't plan on this year and he said he wanted to go to a race. So we called Miami Homestead and got in touch with the guy that had given us cold passes to all the garages for all weekend before, Someone else had told me a couple months ago they weren't giving Sprint Cup Garage passes to us anymore and I had decided the trip was to costly and to far away to ride down there and Mason not get to see his Hero, Jimmie Johnson. Well they promised we have cold passes and can get in so we will be headed back to Championship Weekend in November. Didn't think they would get anymore of my money after the Confederate Flag Ban but that's what I get for getting my Little Buddy hooked on a once great sport. To young to explain the Flag Debate and Love him to much to say NO we cant go. He starts Kindergarten this year so missing a few days is no big deal but next year is school and he might not get to go that far again so we are going one more time. I hope its a Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick shoot out.
