I had the pleasure of getting to see Shine go on Thursday night this weekend at American Redbone Days. He is a classy, classy dog, with the style to win BIG hunts. I was thoroughly impressed by this hound in many regards. Keep up the good work with him Jack and Brian, he sure is a dandy!

I agree with Corey. Shine was the only dog that I hunted with this weekend that caught my eye. Good strike dog, good treedog and plenty of hunt. Hunting him and his half brother (turkey) together, could put a real hurting on a coon population.

Some time down the road, I would like to see a female out of shine crossed on turkey or a female out of turkey crossed back on shine. I enjoyed watching turkey and shine hunting together even though they were rarely together. Lol

Queen and I hunted with Jarrod and his ntch Fancy fri night, dogs hunted hard, first tree had a Coon , but moved further up the the tree before judge could see it, queen made a tree alone, couldn't find Coon for under growth.. Dead cast.. But was a fun hunt. Thursday was the same, all circle trees, queen had 2 trees alone.

We decided to give Shine a chance for a ticket in July to see what he could do. Shine had an impressive run he was put in 17 cast winning 12. With 2 different handlers in 2 states at 9 different clubs. And drawing some of the top dogs around. That's a 71% win ratio showing us he could get it done. We don't know if it was enough for a ticket but we gave it our all. Now it's time for some rest. We'll be concentrating on Autumn Oaks, The Grand Masters and the Worlds.
