pulled ANNIE and BOATER out of retirement last night . Neither lost a thing setting on the chain ,that's what I like about these dogs they don't have to be hunted every night .Ethan says he wants to go to the world so we are. Just have to get the big boy in a little better shape. I think we are going west , don't want to have to hunt against Bob and his good young dog. Hear OLD BUSTER is the real deal. Is getting the hang of it again, Ehtan and I had him out last night and he ran a really good track and treed a coon . Second coon was a lay up ,home by ten . I like those kind . he keeps looking like that and I'll be happy. Three more days to the semi s, and I think BOATER knows something is up.TOM
Didn't get a chance to hunt in the semi's some body was stuffing his face full of chicken and missed the dead line. So I guess this was his last harah with me anyway. He deserves more than he got . TOM PS good luck to all that got through the first night+

Bow season is in and I thought I was off to the woods. Picked up the bow and guess what I could not pull it . So off to town to buy a crossbow.Have to have a permit here so a doctor office call . Time this is over with could of bought a half a beef. Now I can go sit in a tree and let the bugs eat me , what in the world is the matter with me? Got a friend we met at the world last year comming to go coon hunting with me this weekend , should be fun. Hope we can tree a few .Brandon Miller is going to turn old STAR loose so I know she will put one on the bush. Star is elevn years old and very few young dogs can stay with her. STAR is a half sister to JOKER and has been a good dog for BRANDON h will miss her when she ---- don't even want to think about it. He does have a son of BOATER that he is really fond of. GOT to go the bugs are calling me TOM
BOATER and ANNIE are going to set another season out. Ateries in the leg have closed up already so I guess we are going to have some surgery . Hope it works better than the last operation. Boater is five years and never had a real season. tom

Thanks for the well wish's ,we're all done now. They say it is doing really good can't prove it by me. Tired of the walker and not leaving the house.
