Hope everyone has been having a good season. I have been hunting a few times a week. Just don't get near as excited for season when the coon are worthless. We sure have been blessed with a mild winter.

Looks good I know what you mean by prices we tried not to shoot too many just enuff to keep a healthy population and reward the dog. We are pretty snowed in round here now. I have a nice young female that favors Jam I call Blubelle she is just a bit darker. Take care keep posting pictures Trev I enjoy them!

We took 51 hides in and averaged $3.25. I kept out a dozen super jumbo and left in freezer hopin prices may go up a bit.

I think that is the smartest thing to do. I had over 50 left from last year still in the freezer.

I don't kill them for the money but I sure enjoy shooting some out during season. I only shoot a few a month in the summer and I hunt 4 nights a week on average so I love to drop some out when season hunts.

Thanks Matt. Yes Blue is another young dog off Jack. Jack in my book is o e of the greatest reproducers to ever walk.

Blue is the 3rd I've had off Jack that will flat tree coon at a year old.

Nice!Yeah that's too consistent to be luck or coincidence.Jack must be a reproducer.He throws some good looking Blue dogs to.One of these days I'd like to come up for a hunt.

Jam has been in heat the last few weeks so just now breaking her back out to get her ready for some hunts coming up. She has been looking really good the last couple nights. Coon have been moving great.

Hunted jam two nights at the spring classic this weekend and picked up 2 cast wins. I've seen her look alot better but she just came out of heat a couple weeks ago. She looked good enough. Im proud of her.

Hunted Jam and Bell last night. It sure was humid. Had a good hunt and seen a few coon. This coon gave Jam a good run for about 400 yards along a ditch before he had enough.

Hoping to get Jam qualified this weekend.

Blue looked real good tonight picked up another 1st place win. He's been in 3 hunts and has 2 1st place wins both scoring over 700 he treed the last coon in tonight's hunt also but I laid back.

Jam and Blue each under a coon Sunday night. As you can see I got really lucky spotting either coon. I love summer hunting but sometimes shining a tree is near impossible. Blue is quickly becoming a all around impressive hound. He gets his mouth open very quick on a track and drifts + drives a track almost as good as my Ike dog did. He comes treed with 2 dying ball locates and turns it over into a every breath chop. He is also very loud and a stand on the tree stay in one spot tree dog. I have some high hopes for Blue.

Blue did a nice job on this coon a couple nights ago. it was hot and humid and he was treed a good while before I got to him. Blue has a nice mouth and is a stand in one spot tree dog.
