Skuna river babe (barkxqueen 10) will be bred to dollar this weekend it will be a half brother half sister cross and you won't get more skuna river bark under one hyde without resurrecting bark himself ! Babe is all coon dog with an extremely nice. Squal mouth one way track dog with a beautiful locate and rolls it over to a 80 bpm chop on tree !! Babe has coon sense you could drop her in the dessert and she could find water and a coon!!!!! Great disposition and she is the only dog I have ever seen that knows how to work around and I'll dog on a tree and with all the junk and tree happy dogs being bred these days that is a plus for her pups!!!! Dollar will speak for hisself !!!! I will also be breeding my bird female (homerxswamp) female she has a huge mouth she also won the grand American in 2010 and a proven reproducer herself I already have some of these pups spoken for but I will be making a list for both!! Guys mark my words there will be some nice hounds showing up in a while because dollar is only being bred to select females that belong to serious coon hunters that understand the difference between a dog that will tree coons and a coon dog believe me it makes a difference. I have a 9 mos old pup I will turn loose with anyone's seasoned coondog and he will hold his own because his sire and dam are coon dogs he was a natural he required little training just added woods.

I can't WAIT !!! I guess guys who dont understand that coon hounds are bred not made will never get it. I got it and I understand how fun it is to hunt a real Coon Dog.. These will be amazing little hounds. Thanks to all the guys who keeps this strain alive. They are some of the best hounds around.. In my book they are the best I have seen.. thank you and herman and wimp aron and ebrybodyy else that will have a hand in these litters cause we will all agree that one person cannot do alot but a group can make it happen and keep them alive !!!!! cant wait until i get the first litter on the ground and then to back it up with my bird female in june which is a homerxswamp female so we will have the heaviest skuna riiver pups on the ground to be had!!!!!

i have 3 dogs in my kennel all bred by potomac. i found what suits me and looks like a 4th is soon to come!! babe is a coondog for sure and by what im hearing about dollar better look out!! people better jump on these pups while they can!

I have followed some good hounds over the years but dollar by far is the most balanced hound I ever followed and I believe with selective breeding he along with the right females that are coon dogs not brood dogs will produce track driving dogs that will have them coons so far all the pups I kept started with little effort but they were carefully thought out before making the cross I don't keep many pups for sale but the ones I do keep I will guarantee will be the right kind I have a 5 mos old that is loud good looking and is coon crazy from the first coon he saw.

1150 miles in one day that should tell you coonhunters what I think. About dollar and will make the trip again in 60 days to breed 2010 grand american ch pkc ch gr nt ch bird and make another coon dawg to coon dawg cross!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for everything Herman hope your wife gets better I have been there and done that !!!! A lot of people have missed the dollar train cause they refuse to breed coon dawg to coon dawg instead they are following a paper trail that won't tree them $hit! Dollar is a coonhunters dog that just happens to have a title which doesntmake him do his job any better or any worse!!!walker men let's get back to cold nosed track driving coon dawgs that are independantand have a coon when they set!!!! Oh and have huge bawl squall mouths on track with great locates that turn it over to a 70-80 bpm chop on tree !!! All you get with more than that is hot nosed slick treers that are possessive and become Ill on the tree and those type don't live or eat at mine nor hermans house long!!!! Don't forget you comp hunters that you are the one that has to walk behind those dogs the other six nites a week and if you are doing that with most the dogs I have seen out there you are just lieing to yourself!!!!

hello herman its been a while since I've been on here.pups will be 6wks.old Tuesday 5-14-13. they are the best looking and the best acting pups I have raise at this age. they are very smart and they are getting after that coon tail. I'am keeping two females out of this cross to train this year, they will be 7mos. old when are coon hunting season opens in november.I plan on having them running and treeing by then. millie started at that age . I have two males and one female left to sell, I have had calls from guys about these pups but say I'am to far away or she isn't a nt.ch. yet. millie is a coondog or I wouldn't waste my time breeding her to dollar. I'am going to smart hunting the hair off her starting this week to get her back in shape so I plan on putting her in some hunts.I agree with potomac,iforce and you that we got to breed coondogs to coondogs to better the treeing walker breed.the all grand pedigree is great but I have not seen a all three gen.coondog pedigree yet. herman I've hunted with a lot of sorry coondogs we need more honest breeders like you. if anyone is interested in a well bred pup I will treat then right. 419-551-1874.
