Hi,

Preacher qualified for the World Show by winning the RQE at Kirksville, MO last weekend. He has also qualified for the Purina National this year in Flora, IL.

Finley River Jake

Jake and I had a good hunt last night. He treed a couple coons in two different trees and we were back home in about an hour. He's letting his mouth go more.

Hi,

The more experience he gets and the more confidence he gains on those cold coons, the more he is going to crank it up. You have a coonhound with an exceptional nose and his brain will develop to his nose. This is the way it is with Finley River hounds that possess that unique ability.

Post some pics of him on the tree or send pics to Mike Warlick and he will put them on the thread.

I love those big mouth, bawl, squall, screaming tree dogs that tree every breath. They drown out those chop mouth dogs. If that is what you don't like about Jake, as I have told you before, call me.

He is an exceptional young dog.

Kiger's Finley River Speed

Took Speed to a show last night, his nails where long and I hadn't work with him since this fall, he worked well with all the excitement going on around him. I just kept talking to him a re-setting him. He won the class, breed and show .

Hi,

Just not sure you understand the potential Jake has. He is a work in progress and I am not sure you understand what he is doing.

He is going to make an outstanding track dog, that can drift, or go to the air, to get the job done, if need be.

Jake treeing about 20 coons before you ever shot one down to him, set him back a little. It would have ruined a mediocre dog.
