saline river classic championship

well we had our saline river classic championship hunt this past weekend and it has left me tired, it was a good hunt and show,all went well, congrats to all the winners, Derek Mclain ntch his blue male out and finished 2nd place overall, congrats Derek.....Gerald

well bad news shelly had 8 male pups a week early, when I found them the early that morning she had laid on 7 of them and killed all 7, I have 1 male left, to bad there were alot of guy,s wanting theses pups and most of them were hard hunters, well maybe next time........Gerald

bunckhouse hunt

had a great time in Mo. friday night I hunted with Paul with Astro, Doug Lynn had froggie, and yours truly had Shelly, we had a great hunt, 20 degrees by the time we called it quits, food and fellowship at it,s best.

Hunted Saturday night with Roy cliffton and Robbin, Hank Tober and sissy Elmo Overton and his little female can,t remember her name, and I was hunting Lance Byrds young male RB we treed 4 coons then Roy cut Lady Leggs and gave Robin a break Leggs did a real nice job on our last dump, she got by herself and treed a coon and is a nice tree dog, Elmo,s female also split with 2 big coons up a big oak, RB did a good job he sounds really good treed under a coon, thanks Lance for allowing me to hunt him aftere shelly hurt her leg on friday night, I am rteady for next year already........Gerald
