We have had rain every day also but just like the postal service, through rain, hail, sleet, or snow I'm going tonight. It's going to be hard to keep the old dog, up off the creeks, but we are headed to the hills. Kansas season opens tonight. The water doesn't stop the Lincoln pup, so we will start out with him and then switch to one of the other pups.

The weather man says that the rain should move out by tonight, I will be heading to the hills also to see if I can get one treed. Don't know what I am going to hunt yet, maybe Cleo and a pup in the first drop and Zip and a pup on the second......Tim

Talked to Brian Pearson yesterday and he said that he treed a coon the other night with his Turk and 911 female. Brian said that he was standing in knee deep water at the tree and he has a picture of it ...........Tim

I new that cross would produce tree dogs. I would like to see 911 bred to Joker or Zip? either one would produce track driving tree dogs.I heard Bryan might be hunting Jazz this winter ? I think we are all going to be hunting in wet weather all season.

18 days of rest had my dogs hyper and they blew through the first section and treed on a den. The next dump was almost a repeat but the old dog pulled up treed 50 yards short of the coon. The pups looked like crap. The next dump they slowed down a little and treed another den, Froggie hit it about 10 times and then shut up, the Lincoln pup stayed hooked with the old dog and Timmy climbed but couldn't get close to the hole. By this time I was wore out and had a blister on my heal and I was sick of hunting (act like walker dogs) and I had to work so went home. I am going out a little later tonight than we did last night, and I hope the edge is off the dogs now. One thing about it is , nights like this make the good ones look better.

Tim.. She still needs some time in the woods but she is doing a nice job for us. I think I will be feeding her for a LONG TIME.....We have big plans for her in the future. Its getting hard to keep her a secret.

Last summer Cleo lost her entire litter and almost died herself, due to a massive bacterial infection. I plan on breeding her this spring to one of my Gr Nts. It will be to John II or Zip, both are real nice hounds that are outstanding treedogs.....Tim

There should be some young dogs sired by Joker, John II and Zip that will be hunted at the Get-together, plan to attend. There will be TOP hounds from other states there to be seen by anyone that is interested......Tim

Had a good hunt last night with Johnny Yoder and Hank Taber. Johnny had a young female, out of his Kit female and B & D Crook, Hank had Dual Grand Uchtmans Southern Blue Timber, and I had my GR CH Lady female. We turned loose 5 times, had 1 den tree and 4 singles, all the dogs looked real good and we had a great time.........Tim
