Morning! Was 40 something this moning and drizzly but 47 as I type and sun is shining. We got 3 inches of rain in all this time. Going to be in the low 30's tomorrow morning but the rain is gone for now I think.

Hi Guys

and gals!
Long day here, just getting on here. Nothing special just busy doing nothing...LOL...
Was in the high 30s here today, lots of melting and then rain... which iced up again as it landed on the cool surfaces. Was raining when Bob and Dyl got back from the Eagle project at about 5 pm. Been TONS of snow crashing of the roofs (yay!)... Bob got our shelter roof pretty clear last night now we'll just hope it stays standing!
Have a GREAT night everyone!! Heather

Trashy ole blue dog

Rambler did it again got Willow and Samantha on another big ole blackie

What a race you have never heard such they ran him out of a 500 acre clear cut he tried to make it to the big mountain they put so much pressure on him he had to make a turn and came right back at us I would say he wanted to get in logging road we were standing in and head to the mountain but we turned him back on the dogs he sure was a busting the brush

He headed right down the branch and out in the bottom they put so much heat on him when he started across the fields he had to stop and fight 1.2 miles away on the GPS not sure how long it took us to get there we had to walk away from them to get around the clear cut

Any way when us two ole fat men got in a couple of yards of him he broke out and headed for the mountain a whale of a 900 hundred yard race and this time they put him up a tree he bailed out when we got there but was able to catch the dogs this time

Its not often you hear a whole race like that man was it sweat but the dogs amaze me with there stamina and heart they use all of that energy to hold blackie on the ground bayed like that and put the heat on him like that amazes me you just do not realize how demanding it was on them Samantha is 1 Willow is 2 Rambler is older not sure how old but none of the 3 wanted to come out of there box on Sat. shows a lot of heart on all 3 dogs part

Whats even more amazing is how Willow and Samantha had time to stop and build a stretcher for ole Rambler to ride on so he could keep up hee hee

wbond...

... sorry they ran another bear BUT... it sure sounds exciting!

Hi Everyone! FInally getting on here while watching the superbowl. BUSY weekend here...Dylan got his Eagle project done and Bob said it was great! I haven't seen the pix yet. Dyl had a GREAT weekend... since on Friday we won a regional competition at school for Deca(which is a marketing program of some sort)... He did NOT expect to do well let alone win.. so now he will compete at the state level! He was floating all weekend. He and Bob are SORE from painting all weekend... on top of the last week of snow moving, roof raking etc! LOL...
It was REALLY warm here today! Woke up to 36 or 37 if I recall. We had THUNDERSTORMS last night around 9:30 pm. and it poured... of course it's all ice now... and was ice all morning covered with water. Got NEW sharp cleats on our boots for sure.
OK... Have a Great night everyone! Heather

44 and drizzling again this morning, yesterday was beautiful, blue shies and mid 50's. No rain tommorrow, but rain the rest of the week. We are slowly catching up to where we need to be this time of year.

Great hunt Sat night, 5 trees and seen 3.

Ya'll have a good'un, gotta go to my wife's cousin's funeral this afternoon. He was 38 and left his wife and 4 youngins ( 13-2 ). Heart attack got him while playing basketball with his oldest girl.

just for the record old blue wasnt the one who struck that black devil it was the tri-color dog but he sure took his part in running that sucker. Many more of them and i might get back down to wresling weight...okay it would take several hundred more to accomplish that

it was exciting but i would a whole lot rather treed a coon instead dogs had the bear bayed up and above them the coyotes were raising cane it was one you wish you could have recorded...bunch of trashy dogs anyway
