Morning, wind and a shower last night. 69 degrees at 10 oclock last night with a front coming through, brought back memories of feb of 2001, 2 killer tornadoes ripped through here.

Albany was awesome.
Kind of hard to show there since the show ring is right slap dab in the middle of everything. My pup was freaked out! All good!

Glad to be back...maybe "someone" won't notice.....

BaH HUMBUG AGAIN!

I'm on strike... Haven't been further than the dawg yard so far. There was a good coating of ice on the trees and it was raining pretty hard.... Bob and Dyl have finished up out side with plowing, snow blowing and shoveling... and we're all in the warm house, with power and good things. I WILL have to go feed the birds again in the PM (Bob did it this morning for me...the angel)...
Some people are so hard hit... roof collapses, ice, snow all over the country... hate to think of it...

Stay warm and dry and keep smiling, Heather

Well it is about sweet tea

A woman goes to the doctor, beaten black and blue.

Doctor: "What happened?"

Woman: "Doctor, I don't know what to do. Every time my husband comes home drunk he beats me to a pulp."

Doctor: "I have a real good medicine for that. When your husband comes home drunk, just take a glass of sweet tea and start gargling with it. Just gargle and gargle."

Two weeks later the woman comes back to the doctor looking fresh and reborn.

Woman: "Doctor, that was a brilliant idea! Every time my husband came home drunk, I gargled with sweet tea. I gargled and gargled, and nothing happened!"

Doctor: "You see how keeping your mouth shut helps?"

About snow and I am married to a blonde so dont tell her I posted this!

One winter morning a husband and wife in central South Dakota were listening to the radio during breakfast. They heard the announcer Say, "We are going to have 8 to 10 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the even-numbered side of the street, so the Snowplows can get through." So the good wife went out and moved her car...

A week later while they are eating breakfast again, the radio announcer said, "We are expecting 10 to12 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the odd-numbered side of the street, so the Snowplows can get through." The good wife went out and moved her car again.

The next week they are again having breakfast, when the radio announcer says, "We are expecting 12 to 14 inches of snow today. You must park...." Then the electricity went out. The good wife was very upset, and with a worried look on her face she said, "Honey, I don't know what to do... Which side of the street do I need to park on so the Snowplows can get through?"

With the love and understanding in his voice that all men who are married to blondes exhibit, the husband replied, "Why don't you just leave it in the garage this time."

Gotta keep the womens off my back

A man was carpeting his living room, and once finished, he couldn't find his pack of cigarettes. Then he saw the lump in the middle of the carpet. He decided he didn't want to pull up the new carpet for one pack of smokes, so he took his hammer and pounded the lump flat. His wife came in the room just then and handed him his cigarettes.

"I found them in the kitchen," she told him. "Now if I can just find our pet hamster."

The husband had just finished reading a new book entitled, 'You Can Be the Man of Your House.'

He stormed to his wife in the kitchen and announced,
'From now on, you need to know
That I am the man of this house and my word is law..
You will prepare me a gourmet meal tonight, and when I'm finished eating my meal, you will serve me a sumptuous dessert.
After dinner, you are going to go upstairs with me and we will have the kind of sex that I want.
Afterwards, you are going to run me a bath so I can relax.
You will wash my back and towel me dry and bring me my robe.
Then, you will massage my feet and hands.
Then tomorrow, guess who's going to dress me and comb my hair?'

The wife replied, 'The funeral director would be my first guess'

Anyone golf?
A nun walks into Mother Superior's office and plunks down into a chair. She lets out a sigh heavy with frustration.

'What troubles you, Sister?' asked the Mother Superior . 'I thought this was the day you spent with your family.'

'It was,' sighed the Sister. 'And I went to play golf with my brother. We try to play golf as often as we can. You know I was quite a talented golfer before I devoted my life to Christ.'

'I seem to recall that,' the Mother Superior agreed. 'So I take it your day of recreation was not relaxing?'

'Far from it,' snorted the Sister. 'In fact, I even took the Lord's name in vain today!'

'Goodness, Sister!' gasped the Mother Superior, astonished. 'You must tell me all about it!'

'Well, we were on the fifth tee...and this hole is a monster, Mother Superior - 540 yard Par 5, with a nasty dog leg left and a hidden green....and I hit the drive of my life. I creamed it. The sweetest swing I ever made.

And it's flying straight and true, right along the line I wanted...and it hits a bird in mid-flight !'

'Oh my!' commiserated the Mother. 'How unfortunate! But surely that didn't make you blaspheme, Sister!'

'No, that wasn't it,' admitted Sister. 'While I was still trying to fathom what had happened, this squirrel runs out of the woods, grabs my ball and runs off down the fairway!'

'Oh, that would have made me blaspheme!' sympathized the Mother.

'But I didn't, Mother!' sobbed the Sister. 'And I was so proud of myself! And while I was pondering whether this was a sign from God, this hawk swoops out of the sky and grabs the squirrel and flies off, with my ball still clutched in his paws!'

'So that's when you cursed,' said the Mother with a knowing smile. 'Nope, that wasn't it either,' cried the Sister, anguished, 'because as the hawk started to fly out of sight, the squirrel started struggling, and the hawk dropped him right there on the green, and the ball popped out of his paws and rolled to about 18 inches from the cup!'

Mother Superior sat back in her chair, folded her arms across her chest, fixed the Sister with a baleful stare and said...

'You missed the putt, didn't you?'

Morning everyone! 35 here this morning! Rain coming in tomorrow I think. Gen Beauregard Lee did not see his shadow nor did Punxsutawney Phil so an early spring can be expected according to the old German legend. I'm sure that sounds good to our northern friends more so than us.

Hey Everyone!

WELL... OUR ground hogs are SO SMART here they are doing what they are supposed to do... HIBERNATING underground! LOL...

COrky, Hope rehab goes REALLY WELL for your mom!

Busy day here too... Snapped off a few ice pix with my cell ...not the greatest but I was too lazy to walk all the way back to the house for the real cam...LOL... I measured the standing snow here, where it is pristine and untouched mid field. There are 32 ICE packed inches built up so far this winter! Akkkk... The shelter outback(old horse shelter) where we have our chicken coop... and the 5 remaining chickens is beginning to die on us. One beam fell down and we put it back up... but got out kinda quick when we saw the whole structure is strained. Hoping the chickens will be ok... since we can't easily get them and put them in the sturdier barn. LOTS of roofs down all around New England. Bob got a roof rake BUT... it can't do a thing now with all the ice. Gotta just pray that the shelter will stand firm till we can get the ice and snow off OR.. that the chickens go instantly if it goes down....
IF I can stay awake I may get some more pix onto Photobucket. No guarantees though...cause I'm SLEEPY already! LOL...
SPRING! WOOooHOOoo! Heather
