lol lyle,my war department will be here tommorrow.we got a house in st.augustine and i dont think theres any hunting dogs around there lol. i think ill stick to these ugly tennessee pot lickers.

I really would to see those potlickers down here. Ya'll can hunt all year long if you are tuff enough. If yous guys (yankee talk) were to freeze up or something I would be glad to hunt your potlickers and kill coons in January and February if you would just take mine hunting some in July and August.

we can hunt year around here to,jan.gets a might cool and in the summer it can get pretty warm but ive always hunted all year of course we aint got them gators like yall do lol. my ole dogs aint the best but sometimes they get lucky and tree something every once in a while. ive never hunted none of my dogs around a lot of water,just in creeks so i dont know for sure how they would do in swamps.they will go off a bluff and tree which is more of a curse then a blessing most times lol.

My step brother on left with sweety and my cousin Tyler with coon it was his first time ever going.we let him shoot coon out he loved it.Tack was split about 40 yards down hill but was slick but hey he is only 11 months old and first time he has missed.

Last night was a good night I wanted to go so bad all I talked about was coon huntin seen 4 coons crossin the roads in different spots seen them up until 4am also seen 2 deer 1 around 11 and the second at 5am less than a mile from the house

ok so i have a live coon last night for pups in roll cage soak it down where they will be alot of scent easy track..drag it out an old wagon road 30 yards an turn it loose coon runs up the hill out of sight.walk back turn out the dogs ,they,hit the ground screaming iam thinking no problems right cross creek and set down blowing out the top low and behold the old grinner looking down i give up lol
