The wife had an extra doe tag, so we put some more meat in the freezer. Trenton has been driving me nuts asking when he's gonna be big enough to shoot one. I don't think I'll have to worry about getting him interested in hunting.

I was looking through some of my old pictures and thought I would post a couple historical type pics from back when I started with these hounds. The first picture is of the first three generations of females I owned from this bloodline. They were the beginning of taking the hounds in the direction we have, and were all the type of females I'm proud to have in our pedigrees. Ricky was my first Lightfoot bred hound. She was directly out of Rocky Run Blue Terry, and a Tapp/Little Joe bred female. She was bred to my old Jammer dog which produced Snapshot. I then bred Snapshot to our Drifter dog, who was out of Rocky Run Blue Terry and Lightfoot Ms. Spyder, which produced Blitz. Blitz went on to produce, Black Jack, Gambler, Stifler, Rev, Sho-Biz, Rose, and some others that are in the pedigrees of most of the dogs that have came from us and are scattered across the country.

Idaho Lightfoot Blitz, Idaho Lightfoot Snapshot, Get Em Up Lightfoot Ricochet(Ricky).

My daughter got her 1st deer today.



I think we're done chasin' junk now, so I can start getting ready for cat season. I'm headed north again in a few days to hang out with Brian and chase some big cats.
