Clyde and my GrNt male treed in one den, a big white pine that we couldn't see up, and a big persimmon tree that we couldn't see too well. The red dog split by himself twice up persimmon trees but we kept missing. On the last drop, Clyde struck first, drove the track down on a river with the other dogs and ran it about 1/2 mile and then Clyde split from the two old dogs and treed the only coon we laid eyes on all night. He split about 50 yards from the old dogs (who were on a den) and he had a little coon in his tree. He's looking good! Kill season is just around the corner!
Sounds like Clyde is gona make a nice hound, An Its hard to see a coon in a Persimmon tree.
