Just wanted you to know that after all these years of being Chuck's #1 pup trainer and super nice pleasure dog she is now a Gr. Nt. I've hunted with her for the last 6 years and can honestly say she deserved this title a long time ago. Congratulations Hook and Chuck.

Hounds are performing well ! These two hounds are perfoming at a level equal to my previous best. Not to say they don't have weaknesses. But, they are consistant and don't see many empty trees. Don't get much better than this.... Having a lot of fun with them !!

Jim, I hunted with Sparky's Star dog (GaugeXJenna) a couple times. She is a really nice COONDOG. Quick and honest strike dog and a really classy tree dog. Allen Wyant also has a male dog out of that same cross that is supposed to be a really nice dog.....Ed

JARED IS REALLY ENJOYING TUFF. HE HAS SHOWED HIM COON BOUT EVERY TRIP TO THE WOODS AND I'VE HUNTED HIM 3 OR 4 TIMES AND HE HAS DONE THE SAME FOR ME. WE ARE SHUT DOWN FOR TEN DAYS BEFORE SEASON. JARED WORKS FOR A LOCAL BIG FARMING OPERATION AFTER SCHOOL AND WEEKENDS. THEY HAVE ABOUT 500 ACRES OF CORN TO FINISH UP THIS WEEK AND HE SAYS IT'S TIME TO COON HUNT.
LOOKIN FORWARD TO YOU GUYS COMING OUT FOR A HIDE HUNT. OUR FIRST GUN DEER SEASON IS THE 19TH,20TH, AND 21ST. OF NOV. WE HAVE TO BE OUT OF THE WOODS MIDNITE THURS. NITE AND CAN GO BACK HUNTIN SUNDAY NITE. <v>

I am thrilled to report that Gauge and Maggie have been bred!!! Those that are familiar with Maggie know why! I have a barn full of good hounds but if I'm goin huntin she is in the box! Since Erik F. Has been working up here we have been hunting these two along w some of the others mixed in pleasure hunting, if you want to visit you better do it on the way to the woods because they are ALWAYS split. Recently I have been either selling or giving away dogs that are pleasing their owners BUT little Maggie will die here! Does not always hunt deep alone but doesn't need to.Extra extra Nice mouth.
I doubt she will have many pups but if you are interested in one let me know!!!
Thank you Paul Currie for selling her to me and I would like to give you one of these if you are ready to get back in!! Just say the word.

Hey Kevin , just thought I`d let you know Abby got her first win towards grand last night! She did a nice job and really impressed a hardcore Walker man. If I had the room I`d be interested in a pup off Maggie and Gauge, I`ve hunted with Maggie and I love the sound of her voice!

Nice picture of Elli, can't believe how much she looks like Star. Gumby (Allen Weyant) called me today and told me that Hoss won night hunt dog of the year and he won handler of the year. His daughter Katie who is just ten won benchshow handler of the year showing 2 Gauge bred dogs. Here is a picture of Star.

Sparky,

Coon in this area are a hoot ! Will use every trick in the book to give them ole' hounds the slip. Coon ran the broken branch down into a beaver channel and swam to the other side of the swamp. Thought for a while that Ellie was going to figure it out. She kept working further out into the swamp , lose the track and come back to the tree where I took the picture. No quit in her !
