i haven't even seen or talked to mike since fri. we got no phones, bad water and now plenty of mud. hick 's wife said he was working round the clock. tell pope if he is so worried about us to get his but down here. we got about 2 weeks of clean up and rebuilding to do. i'll make him think a CAN.

My coonhuntin Buddy DJ got a job, he aint used to it yet and cant hunt, I go to get him before dark and he is already in bed. I been having to keep them in the woods by myself. Maybe he can go tonight if he dont have to work tomorrow.

Put Stepper in a hunt fri night, was 2nd in the cast, 50 down when the weather just got too tough, the whole cast withdrew. Stepper got a mile deep and treed one last night Pleasure Hunting.Ole Danny was back hunting hard all weekend.

glad Stepper is ok. Terry's Sugar female looked good monday night when Rance Winn was up. We had a good hunt , looked at 3 and i think had a couple more. hunted Rags, Scar and Sugar two drops then Josie, Jazz, Penny and Sugar. You got to bring Stepper down to Terry's some time and we will hunt the 3 littermates together.

The night Stepper was in that mess treed he was split treed from an English dog of another young mans dog we hunt with, he would not crawl in there to get his dog. I told him he better get in there and get that dog, he said " O he will come out" I got on him pretty hard but he still would not go get his dog like Danny Joe did mine. Then I called him last night and said we will take Stepper back over there an let him Tree one and maybe he will come into him. Stepper got treed up a big cedar but he didnt come in. Finally tracked his collar down to a culvert, it was shot almost half into and had buckshot and blood on it. Someone shot his dog.

i'd love to see those 4 go at the same time. I'm sure there would be plenty of action. CHIGGERS , that is going on everywhere, never heard of so many dogs being shot.

Just got back from Bluetick days. Had a great time and got to hunt in some flat country and deep water, Seems like its wet every where this year. Tell Chiggers to put me down for one of his pups out of Kixx's if he has any females not booked. Are you draggin him down to Missouri with you next month ?

Yea, we are sure planning on it. Want to hear some more stories like the one when you got lost coonhunting and was lost so long you about starved to death, I still get to laughing when I get to thinking about that one. If Danny Joe cant get off work Ill try to get my hunting buddy Bones to go, he is a good hunter and really knows his dogs also.

he has changed a lot since i had him. Look's a lot darker and has filled out, sure made a nice looking hound. Good pictures.

Got some more tonight, they race horsed and popped one up tonight, that one in the pictures was a Tough Ole Coon but Ole Stepper stayed with him and nailed him. Danny Joe has been MIA this week.

.......................Last night, Stepper, Sounder an 8 month old Jaggs n Aisia male and Twister, my hunting buddy Jimmy Ballards walker dog, Im trying to convert him but its hard because his Twister dog is a Fine hound with a Big Bawl mouth, fast on track and a Whale of a Tree Dog, Him and Stepper really push each other.
