J-Lee pups

This is my almost 9 week old female out of Jesse Lee and 3 Forks Cricket. She is already giving the house cats a hard time!!..lol

Had a couple decent nights the last two nights with Jasper. Had a little bit of everything. Two nights ago we treed a den, then a slick, then a coon, and lastly a never ending track that after about 35 or 40 minutes he gave up on and came in. Last night didnt seem to be a good night of coon moving and we got a first. The first dump he got a possum up but boy did he do it right with slobber flying when i got to him. The next drop he hunted out and came back without a bark and the next drop we put one in a rock pile but I did see it back in there. Not sure if we are gonna give it a try and haul to town tomorrow or give it another week of work and try next weekend at something closer.

Them young dogs are lobble to do anything man never knows about them fool things thats for sure huntings been alittle wierd here this weather will level out and things will get better quick now I think..I've just hunted young dogs since dec been intresting most nights to say the least seen alittle bit of everything happen but they seem to come up with a coon here and there just all part of the process for me they will level out and it will get better with age one thing about it when they do tree one its normally in the style I like!!! So at least the tools are there!!!! I still want to hook up for a hunt with that rascal soon if we can maybe in the next week or two I can make it up there? Thanks for the update keep them coming.

Rory thzt would be great your welcome any time. Its really a surprise it has taken him this long to tree something as much of a tree dog as he is. You make him stay for the five and its a good tree he is sure of and he will be slobbered up from treeing so hard when you get there.
