Just me the lil Yankee with Southern and Greek roots, muslims IN the extended family (WHITE ones too) and all sorts of odd religions all mixed into one...and liberals all around us and yet.... Bob and I Still love coonhunting, coonhounds, MD (since that is where my dad was born and raised), Sweet Tea (although a good old boy, Yankee farmboy finished my bottle...all made up in the fridge... Darned Yankee! )

WB , More nice pix! LOVE the show at AO... I sat my rear at the rings and didn't move most of the show the 2 yrs I was there... LOL... ALL that CORN and those BEANS! We could NOT believe how many miles of crops! WOW!
Nice day here. FOrced ourselves to come in as it got dark. OH! I ate a peach from the Big Apple today, a yellow one...it was Wonderful...but then when I went out back one of OUR white peaches was RIPE! IT WAS AMAZING! Then I topped that off with my fav. kind of apple from teh Big Apple Farm- a Gravenstein... it was GOOD! Tart and crisp and YUMMY! The Gravenstiens are one of the shortest apple crops at the big apple. We have One lil baby one growing here even though they said we might have trouble getting one started! YES! I think all 3 of our peaches are white...not sure cause 2 are babies. We also planted some yellow peaches this yr... not sure if they'll grow or not? We'll keep trying with our fruit trees... we are TOTALLY clueless with this farming stuff... Darned Yankees!
Hey, it is gorgeous almost FALL weather... someone needs to get out and tree a coon for me and Bob tonight if possible. I'd ask that we have a MIX of breeds at the tree so as to please the WHOLE lot of us on here....lol...

Corky -- I have a very special breed; not much on coon hunting but can tree a mean squirrel!

John -- I am from Winter Wonderland and I hear it is suppose to be bad again this year.

I think the Civil War II is settled for now at least; depends on WB! When I come down south this month I'm going to just play it safe and have a white flag hanging out the window flapping in the wind!
