Harold Johnson should have pups out of his Sally female and John II around the 1st of May. Sally is a sister to Harpeth River Blue Jack and my Hardware dog. Sally is from a proven cross. She is a nice tree dog. I raised her from a pup. Harold has raised one litter off of her. All or nearly all her pups are doing well. Most show to be the hard tree dog type. Between what I hear about John II and what I know about Sally, I would fully expect there to be some top hounds from this cross.

John II was crossed on Johnny Yoder's Kit female (old Uchtman blood) with very good results. I have no reason to expect any less from the cross with Sally, she has a lot of old Uchtman blood in her. This should be a real good cross...........Tim

Went to Higginsville, Mo UKC hunt last night, I won my cast with Psycho but Big Brother won his cast with At a Girl and beat me out of the NT CH win, oh well there is Kentucky next weekend...........Tim

Met Roy Clifton last night, he had a pup that he wanted me to deliver to the Kentucky Bluetick Reunion. We met about half way and took a quick hunt before the rain came. Smoke sure looked good , He got away from the other dogs and got treed with the meat, it took the other 2 a little while to catch up with him. He is a real nice dog...........Tim

I had a great time hunting with you last night. All three dogs done a good job and treed with the meat. Been a while since we got to hunt together outside of a competition hunt. Enjoyed the company and conversation a great deal. I allways come home with more insite into breeding better dogs. Thank you.

Paul and I hunted Thursday and Friday and we have to say that we commend those that have to hunt in Ky. Even when I was younger I don't believe I could cover that terrain on a regular basis. I will stick to my flat land hunting. We had a great time visiting with many old friends and made several new ones. Don't know what the final total for Hot Wire was but he was racking up a pile of trophys and he hadn't been entered in anything yet on Sat. Congrats Robbie and lisa on your wins..............Tim

Hunted 4 young dogs last night 1 Joker female, 1 Frank Jr female and 2 Turk males. The temp was down in the lower 30s and the wind was gusting to 40 mph, it was miserable but we still managed to tree two trees with coon, 1 hole in ground and 1 blank. The future for the bloodline is looking good............Tim
