Brandon did you hunt with Doc before you bred your female? How did he do? Just curious about hunting/tree style mouth, etc. Have not heard much about him or his litter mates in a while.

No Mr. Roger I havent had a chance to go with Doc. When Salley came in heat i decided at the last minute to make this cross. We bred her on or around the 14th day of her heat cycle so wasnt much time for hunting and not to mention he is an 8 hr. drive away. I have seen a few small clips of Doc treeing and from what i see he has a hard Bawl chop on tree similar to old lipper. From what i have been told he is an independent dog that goes as far as he needs to go to find a coon. A good loud lipper mouth and looks to go with it. I have been told his litter mates are doing very well. You will have to ask Mr Tom a little more about the littermates, he has one that lives close to him he is keeping up with. I have met with Mr. tom twice and talk to him alot over the phone. He is a good guy and will tell you the truth on the dog. just give him a call.

puppies

Well my female was an escape artist and got herself bred thankful to our male. We wasn't wanting puppies quite so soon with her. Wanted to get her going a lil more before this but things happen. She had her pups during g a big storm Thursday. Had five gorgeous lil pups 3 males and 2 females all blanket back. Going to look like there daddy jman. Gotta say him and allie throw some pretty babies. Will post some pics soon as the mom calms down a bit.

That's great to hear I imagine having a litter with such high expectations could carry a bit of pressure for them to make coondogs also. I'm glad to hear they are turning out and hope they continue to make you happy.

She will make a nice one Paul and I'm probably making a big mistake but I have a litter coming out of my personal all time favorite female and House's Hardwood Hunter and I just have to make room. Could you imagine this female crossed on one of those young Lipper dogs you guys have? I don't think you could get any tighter Joe House breeding than that anywhere.

Mine just came in heat. Wish one of those pups were ready. LOL
I won't breed her this timethough. She likes 35 points of being nitech and I would like to grand her before I breed her.

Her sire is Extreme Insane X. Her grand parents on the bottom is Hardwood Big Kahuna and Beards Just Rattling Dixie. The dam got sold off and I don't know were but her name at the time was Miss M. It could had been changed though. I don't know anything about genes but it seams like an Insane Lipper pup would make her a nice stud.

House Bred half brothers.

Got TANK and CASH together the common traits were abundant.
Coy's got a COONDOG, and quite a selection of house blood.
Enjoyed every minute gonna do it again.

Okie Dawg I have a female out of insane X and a daughter to houses lipper she is 11months old and doing great has a lot of tree and is a very smart dog. She is oklahoma with Coy right now and is learning a lot . This is an outstanding cross and I wish the best for the Litter of Legends.

Tom I had the same thought. I also hope we get several good ones from our Doc and Macy cross, they should have some great mouths, thanks again. I really enjoy hunting with Lucille and Paul she is really nice and should have a great future.

This gyp I have is allso a hard tree dog and smart as a whip. I want to breed her to as close to Houses Lipper as I can get. Just haveing a hard time makeing my mind up as to witch pup.
I have been wondering if a pup out of the Jane x lipper cross would be to close. I know very little about genes. The gyp I have is pretty high strung. I hope to hunt with Tom some time and get his opinion of what would be best to breed her to.

Good morning Okie Dawg...I'd love to see your female go sometimes. As far as her crossing well on INSANE LIPPER (Lipper X Insane Jane), in my opinion that would be a super cross. Hey there Paul! you got Lucille looking good. I have raised a litter on occasion but usually buy pups and raise them up. I probablly would of had more but some sort of tragedy usually came first. I would like to breed the ones I got now before something else happened. It's not the best pup market up here. I really like this House line and want something out of them for the future. I like to have titles on them too but with limited hunts in the area it's hard to do.

Nope Tom I don't have anything in there. Hadn't been on here in a couple days. Tink is out of heat now. Maybe we can get together at the battle of the breeds in Jan. or some time around there. If you are ever going to be up this way let me know and we will go run some.

Thanks Okie Dawg...it has been fun watching these young dogs progress. it's also hard to believe that th LIPPER X INSANE JANE pups are 6 weeks old today. I am gonna make room for my long anticipated HOPKINS'INSANE LIPPER to come to Texas next month. I have always been a one man on one dog guy.I am especially looking forward to this with INSANE LIPPER. I want an invitation to watch that Insane Lipper go threw the woods some night. It would be well worth the drive. I have to see how they turn out. They are sure a pretty litter but that isn't going to be the half of it if they do what I think they will. To me that is an ultimate cross.
