I was thinking more like a new Jeep. Maybe Amanda will give us a big reward for returning him safely. On second thought, maybe Keith will. Amanda probably has him insured and doesn't care. Or I wonder how much Jared will pay us not to tell Amanda that he would have gotten swallowed up in the swamp if we hadn't saved him. It would have been funny if he hadn't been whining and crying so hard. I hate to see a grown man cry. What I remember the most is him saying to give Boone a pat on the head and tell him that he said goodbye.

I wasn't crying I think that was just the mud in my eyes. I wasnt wining either that was Justin you heard squeaking from joy, cause Clifford just treed a coon. I did see my life flash before my eyes at one point in time. I thought I saw 2 lights heading toward me walking hand and hand with one another.....until I realized it was just you two. I told you guys the woods was to thick to hold hands in and it would take longer to get to the tree. I guess next time you will listen to me, you did save my life just in time though, My head was almost under the quick sinking swamp. Thanks a lot for saving me I'm sure Boone appreciates it. 😀

Justin said that he wanted to hold my hand in case he stepped in the quicksand. And we weren't skipping, we were tiptoeing through the stinging nettles. Thanks for taking us to such a great spot. I found out that stinging nettles and quicksand doesn't show up on my new Garmin Birdseye.

The big quicksand ordeal didn't seem to have any lasting effects on Jared. He got a 3rd place win with In It To Win It Reba II last night in her first hunt.

Clifford is kind of sad. His roommate didn't stay with him long. I think he'll be happy in the long term with the amount of hunting time in his near future though.
