Bad deal, I agree Travis Mother Nature sometimes is a natural culler, sometimes the ones that don't need culled to.

not that they were great and may have only been average hounds at best when finished, but it just stinks to spend all that time and money to not find out. its just the beaks. its not the first time and sure it won't be the last. guess I will be starting over again with 4 month old pups lol

Went to the vet this morning had blood drawn and he is 100% worm free. Guess we will start hunting him again.

it still wouldn't hurt to continue to give him a little ivomec every now and then just for safe measure.

Eddie how are you guys doing? I'm not going to be able to go to AO. The kids wanted me to tell you hi and that maybe next year they can come help ya'll out for a week or so. Ready for the hunts to start back up over there. And by the way females aren't to bad to hunt. God Bless you guys and be safe going to AO tell Chris good luck.

Eddie, Gypsy has made it over the hump it seems. She has treed a handful of coon this last week or so and has stayed put on all of them. She is getting a lot of hunting by herself. It is purely a confidence thing right now and fur in the mouth is just what the Dr. ordered. She is hunting over a 1/2 mile deep by herself and is going to be right when she looks up.

that's awesome Dan! like you have said before, you knew that would do the trick. I can't wait to hunt with her. Gypsy Treed! has he got to hunt her with the older dogs to gauge her track speed? I figured it would only be a matter of time and she would shine like a new penny for you. i'm glad you own her and thank you for giving her a chance.

She has been hunted with a couple of my different older females since she was started. She runs off and leaves dogs on track. Diamond of course needs a 3rd place or better to be a nitech and Molly needs just one more win to make a Grand Nite. Gypsy has been hunted with pretty nice females since she was started at a year old and takes a back seat to none of them. She is independent and has a whale of a mouth. Only time and boot leather will prove how she will finish out, but she has had us excited since she was young.

that's awesome! we are seeing this trait dominate in the pups too. that is why I had to ask you. i'm ready to make the trip to Kansas and hunt with her when you are ready buddy
