Cut Ike two times. 1st he got deep 750 and treed right in someones yard. Didn't even shine the tree. Next cut he ran a red hot track about 300 yards and had it up a big oak tree. Coon in it wasn't to lucky lol

Had another little hunt last night with my buddy I had first strike on first dump his dog came treed first on a big oak we could hardly shine any of it with the under growth my pup went on another 125 yards and was freeing on a pile of trees a dozed rolled up. Went to next spot dogs took of different ways I struck in first his dog came to my pup and they ran it 750 and his dog treed but mine wouldn't tree with him he had a coon there went to next drop and had first strike again dogs ran 300 together his dog treed my pup didn't tree till we was bout to the tree had a tripple. We left his dog freeing and made mine go on from there but never got on a track so went and dropped my pup alone ran one 450 and had it. Went and got another of my buddy's dogs and cut with my pup had first strike and ran it out of hear so drove around and got there in time to hear the last 75 yards of the trail my pup was treeing on another stack of trees on the edge of a pipe line. His dog kept trying to leave but ended up back on it so we called it a night.Wut would you all do with a young hound that wont hardly tree with another dog but wont leave it and go hunt another one ether? I know he young but figure if I can work with him now on it might be easier than trying wen hes older.

Took Ike to a mini slam last night and won it but guide had us way away from the club and thought deadline was 3 30 instead of 3 so missed deadline by a few minutes. I wasn't to happy

took tuff to ukc hunt last night had a bad guide we never scored a coon. 2nd drop tuff got really deep out of hearing called time out drove round picked him up.last drop was first and first good track positive itwas there big ol leafy tree.

I'm hunting peg this morning turned at 4 am just got back to the truck at 5 was raining at 4 but its nice now. Peg treed a layup on the edge of the woods. Love my new boss head I bought from Bruce at ao I have the red & the green bulbs due to them being sold out of just the red

Hunted Ike in the Grands at Autumn Oaks and didn't do any good. He overheated and was done for. Talked to several people that said the same.

Sat night wasn't quite as hot and I managed to place 5th overall with Belle. I was happy with it. Maybe next year it won't be so hot and humid.

Trevor this is the first time I've seen this post. This explains why you took my post so personal. But I will say I have never had a dog quit on me in 37 years of hunting you may want to have a vet check him out. I apologize if I offendined you but I mean what I say, there's a medical problem or the dogs not in as good a shape as one might think.

Had a real nice hunt last night. Ike treed one real quick long a corn field. Then I recasted him and he got real deep and was treed on a mess full of vines. No coon seen but sure it was there. Went somewhere else and he ran a nice 300 yard track and had a coon up a big oak tree.

Sure love the cooler weather.
