Yes Elmo she is going to have us a litter.I m excited ,this should be a great cross,both her and Kid are quick.everybody is liking the powder cros so far I would say this will be equal to better.the main thing is getting them in coon hunters hands.I ll go out on a limb and say at least 8 in her.i ll post updated pics in a week or so.

DRIFTER

Just got back in from a little hunt with drifter down the road here in the hills of eastern Ohio. Turned him loose 1/2 mile away from the woods across a rolling corn field and he was struck and treed in in about 5 minute with the coon setting in the top of the tree. He can flat drive a track and that bone chilling locate and just roll it on over, man you can't help but like that

Heres a pic of John Gill and Big D,He is off of Lou and Stinger.

We have Kid on the left,Penny in the middle and Kit standing.John Gill on the side.
Penny is off of Tree Daddy X Stinger`s Ruby
Kit is off of Kid and Stinger`s Powder.
Kid is off of Stinger and Sis a Daughter of Tree Daddy.

Hi Matt, Nice pictures. Those BLUE hounds sure are a collection of your MOSQUITO CREEK KENNELS! STINGER AND TREEDADDY blood loaded. Whatever you are doing with breeding you are doing RIGHT. I am glad KID is fitting in with your plans and like you I think he will be a GREAT reproducer. He was one of the most NATURAL coonhounds I ever started and YES I still miss him. Take care. Billy

DRIFTER

Had another good hunt last nite first turn out I was hunting the muskingum water shed area on wills creek. Turned drifter loose in a giant swamp that has beaver ponds in it and is knee deep most of the time, you could hear him splashing in the water a 100 yards away. He swings left handed out about 300 yards and strikes and the race was on he sounded also echoing in that swamp. You could hear the water splashing as he sounded like a freight train moving through the swamp. He motored through the swamp like he was tied to the coon and when he pushed down to the river he gave one of those bone chilling locates and rolled it over. You could hear the echo ringing out across the flats man it was a thing of pure beauty. Then came the fun part, we had to go and get him, after about 45 minutes of wadding through calf deep water and muck we got to the tree with a coon swinging man it was a blast.

John< I ve been taking Drifters littermate she`s been looking good also.Sugar has a loud higher pitched mouth she can get under a coon quick too.we don t have the back waters like you put Drifter in.I bet on those hot nights thats the place to drop him.I'm gonna have to make time and hunt with you.the picture you sent me sure looks good.
My male off of Tree Daddy 'Buckeye Daddy' has been looking good for the limited hunting i ve put on him what a good looking raskle to boot. he just don t have the mouth that Drifter has.I hope Drifter makes you a great hound. talk to you soon.

Sunni `s been having her pups all afternoon.so far 13 or 14 and looks like she could have couple more and all are looking healthy.I ve been keeping a close eye on her and she is doing every thing great for her 1 st litter.One thing about it Kids pups have great color and marking on them .

This cross is loaded up with solid hounds on both sides.Sunni started quick and is quick about getting the job done.If you like Old Uchtman and Old Smokey River I think youll like this cross.If their is enough interest I would SS this litter.now booking pups I only have a few of these pups spoken for.I feel they will be solid balanced hounds with outstanding mouths. Thanks for any interest.100.00 deposite and 150.00 due when you pick up your pup.I will hold the pup till Autumn Oaks if needed.the pups were born 14 th of june this would make them about 10 weeks old and they will be worm free and up to date on all vacinations.

I m excited about this cross,Sunni came from Philp Whitley and he has told me and others that her dam ELLIE was the best coon hound he had in his 40 plus years of hunting.I don,t think doubling Tree Daddy up will hurt anything.Lookout these should be Tuff, Tuff Tuff. kid X Sunni Pups .13 day old.

These guys will be coming back into the house again.calling for 100 tommorow and close to that friday.

Sunni and the pups are in the house and Sunni is taking to it she goes outside does her business and then she wants back in.Don t blame her. pups are doing great.
We have a nice breeze blowing were just not use to this heat. clean fresh water 4 or 5 times a day seems to do the trick with all the hounds.

Hope pups didn't blow away and u have power. Nasty wind storm down here lost power for 2 days, most of the area will be out until July 8. Some say it's because we live on Mohawk dam grid but I think it's because a lot of the AEP guys live on snob knob just outside of Warsaw and there not going without. Haven't been hunting much in last week or two, hot weather like this means a lot of overtime fixing a/c units hopefully it will cool down a bit and work load will lighten up when I come up to get pup and go for a hunt see ya

Johnny,these pups are spoiled rotten they were in the house safe and sound . they get alot of attn.which they deserve.I think, No I know i`m getting soft.pups are looking good. This hot weather can`t hold out too long can it.???

Yea I`ve been real busy with these little guys.the older pups out of Lou they are real active don` t know if their is one any better than the other.
Tom he is screwed up worst than he thought.he`s gonna haft to have his ACL replaced and cartledge fixed. he s not a very happy camper/you should call or text or pm him.

Matt Turner,You missed a good time last night.Tree Daddy grandpups were giving the Darke Co.coon population a hard time.Shawn came up with Ringo(Legend X Superfly),Tori brought his uncle's older walker dog,and I hunted Baby Six.Treed a few and had a good time.

Shawn is only hunting on the weekends right now because of work until the time change,but hunting Ringo alone till this fall when he does get out to go.He is definately the closest thing I've seen to ole Tree Daddy yet.Hunts the timber like Turbo Blue with Legend's locate and mouth.He still needs some hard hunting to be finished,which I'm sure he'll get when the time changes back and Shawn can get out more,but acts pretty good.He will hunt where you put him,opens here and there,likes to work the timber,and is a good hard,loud chop mouth treedog.I'll let you know when they're coming back.You need to come see this little dude in action,you will have flashbacks.LOL.He is a carbon copy of his grandpa and is gonna make a nice little dog when Shawn gets him finished,for no more hunting on him then he's had,I liked what I saw,and he's your type of hound for sure.
