CH Mad Dog Sage

I talked to Robbie Brooks and he let me know Sage is doing well in the thicker coon. He said Sage split from the other dogs twice the other night and had two singles. One was over 1000 yds deep. The other was 50 yds from the other dogs tree. Sounds like he is doing well. Sage is out of Quad Grand Mad Dog Psyco Sid x Mad Dog Sweet Pea (Nikki).

GR CH Mad Dog Astro

Lance,
Just got in from hunting with Paul and Brian, we seen several coon and Brian's Astro dog (littermate to Sage) really looked good. We hunted him alone in one ditch and he went hunting fast, got deep and got treed. Really looked good............Tim

Just talked to Danny Feris and he really likes his Wacker x Jazz female. She had been fooled with very little when he got her, now she will run and tree a released coon and has split treed in the woods at night. He said that she will definately make it..........Tim

Sage

Spoke to Robbie last night and he said Sage is starting to turn it up. He trees coon by himself or with company. He is treeing with other hounds or split treeing and holding pressure. He said he and Lisa really like him because he almost always has a coon. He will also go as deep as needed. I have had him go 1 1/2 miles while hunting by himself. He moves a track really fast. We are looking forward to getting him back to Alabama.

Sage

Robbie called me also and was really high on sage. He said for a young dog he is starting to really put it all together. Robbie's kill season is just about to start and he thinks after two weeks of knocking coon down to him that Sage will be tough.
He sounds like a good one. I have hunted with Astro and if they are anything alike he will be a COONDOG.
Robbie is liking all the young dogs out of Sid and he is producing.

Sage

The reports have been good. The one thing I like about Sage is he is one of the most consistent dogs I have hunted. I don't know if I could wear him down. He gives his all every dump.

It sounds like Robin is making a coondog. After the hide season she should have all the finishing touches. You got a good one in her.

sounds like mad dogs a putting some nice dogs in the mix, our john II pups are acting very promising, a coon tail don,t have a chance.

I agree

There are alot of nice mad dog hounds out there. The pups are promising and bred right. If given a chance, they should make good ones. Astro has got to be a nice hound for Paul to own him. I cant believe he sold those two females. Good luck to the new owners.

one thing about Paul letting those 2 females go, at least it ups the chances of some other breeders putting some positive blood in some of the other lines blood, I guess there,s always a positive in everything, maybe the blood will spread like a disease and overcome the booohoooers that still remain.

Nitech Mad Dog Psyco Talk to em Toby

After much discussion between the Brooks family and mine it looks like Toby will find a new home in our kennel. We are really excited to bring him south. I hunted with Toby several times and really like him. His sire is quad grand Psyco Sid and his dam is the quad grand Remmy female in Georgia.

Paul says that you can't keep all of the goode ones or no one will know what you have. Spread out the blood and let some of the other areas see what you have and let them be the judge........Tim

One thing for sure is we all walk behind nice hounds. I had a fun conversation with Paul today. He genuinely liked the females he sold. He likes the ones he has now too.

I can't wait until Hutch finishes school and life gets back to normal.
