Pups
the pups are looking good I gave them their second shot today.when you let them out they get upset when they have to go back in.when I bought Lou to make this cross I didn`t know what to expect.it won`t be long and we`ll find out.Lou has a good nose on her better than most,she is a great strike dog and a good locating dog with a short bawl chop on the tree.I`ve seen her run tracks and get treed and other dogs couldn`t smell the track.with the likes of stinger`track and tree power these pups should be some Dandy`s.This could be the best cross that have made to this point.I want to say thank you to the guys that are getting one of these pups I`m sure they will be some good ones come out of this cross.I would have to think their will be some outstanding start dogs for you big game hunters.good luck with your pups.THANK YOU !------- MATT TURNER.

Thanks for the calls yesterday.I`m getting good results on stinger pups,some of you guys will have as much of my blood as I have and your going to be seeing what what these hounds are made of.I need to get a couple more females bred to Tree Daddy.Legend will get his share and I have a new prospect I call Stingers Tramp and what a looker, he is off of Stinger and Sadie.I`ll post some pictures of him as soon as the weather breaks.

Big Jim is looking more like stinger stretched out on the tree now that he is getting more hunting on him.I know its asking alot but how do you rate him for a 18 month hound.the good and bad on him if you don`t mind sharing with us.I know he don`t have no turn around in him.he sure looks good on the tree.I bet he has treed a few of your ont. coon.thanks for sharing your pictures with us.

Matt I don't have any recent pics of Boomer. He is just the same size thank god!
He's a pup forsure. He has tore up 3 self feeders. At $40 a pop he's about to eat off the ground.
Some times I wonder why I mess with pups! They sure can test your patientce.
I took down all my pens today and cleaned off the old rock and added new. put the pens back up and made 2 of them 10 x 10 again. More room to run.

STINGER IS AS SMOKEY RIVER AS ANY HOUND LIVING TODATE.
Ellis Blue Jim was a quick strike dog deluxe he treed the last coon up.he could run cold tracks that most couldn`t smell.Stinger is quick to get struck and treed.not much turn around in him he will get treed somewhere and have a coon most of the time.he splits as good as any and what a tree dog he is. what I`m seeing he has reproduced on every female he has been bred to ,he hasn`t been bred to any nite ch. or grand nites yet.alot of interest.his pups will start showing up in the hunts soon.his oldest is turning two june 23rd. if you have a female in heat the best time to get me is early in the morning to 2:20 pm STINGER IS AS SMOKEY RIVER AS ANY HOUND LIVING TODATE.IF YOU HAVE A GOOD QUALITY FEMALE THAT NEEDS BRED TO A SMOKEY RIVER HOUND STINGER SHOULD BE YOUR CHOICE.

hi matt that picture of ellis jim sure brings back memories. i first hunted with him in march of 1988 when i took dixie to get her bred to him. it was a cold clear frosty night jim struck a track worked it quite a ways before treeing. i was impressed. kitty came out of that cross. she was just as cold nosed as jim. nice picture of lou. she is quite a hound. we can't hunt here until july 1. i've been seeing quite a few bear crossing the roads on the way fishing lately. looks like training season will be a good one. happy hunting dennis

I seen a add in a old cooner, that you had pups for sale out of ellis blue jim 1991 or so and I gave you a call thats how I met you. I know you can`t wait till your running season starts.we treed 9 singles last time out. I`ve been doing some fishing to. my daughter and son in law and the grand kids.my daughter sure can put a fishing clinic on.she finds a way to catch them crappie when no on else is catching them.good luck with your young stinger females.I hope I can make it up for a bear hunt this year.I sure had a great time last year .talk to you soon matt.

I only hunted once since bboa bluetick days and it wasnt nothing to bragg about . put a roof on at my mom house and mowed some grass and enjoying the grand kids put the boat on the lake saturday and took the oldest granddaughter to the lake last night she does pretty good for 7 she love to catch bluegills.all the hounds are doing good and its time to start a couple more of my young ones.
Mike i`m glad the pup is doing good for you.I gave mine their third shot last weds.i`ll be talking to you soon.
