I went out around 12:45am and had a lot of fun. First drop Edge treed in a walnut tree next to the river with a very heavy canopy. I was struggling to see 10 ft up the tree let a lone to the top. I hooked him up and did another drop and he went right where I figured he ought to go and fell treed on a nice big oak tree. Coon was seen on the 2nd. I took a couple pics as he was treeing every breath and it was just an exciting night to see him glued to the tree.

I really like the first picture, but for some reason my camera focused on the limb in the upper right corner. Not a professional photographer, but I wish I knew how to get it to not do that. It's done it several times to me with nice pics.

Congrats again, Carl, on your wins with Dan and Chief!

Scott, Steve, and Mike Anderson came down from NH and brought their Rip pups for a visit and to hunt, and all the guys had a fun hunt last night. On the first drop, 6 and 7 month old Daffney and Ellie split from Ox, Dice, and Bonnie! Keep up the good work with those young pups, Scott, Steve, and Mike! They are heading out again tonight, hopefully they will get some more pics.

Jay, yes, he does doesn't he? They ran a smokin hot track, and the guys weren't sure if maybe they grabbed the coon before he got up the tree or what happened?

The guys had another fun night last night. Scott Brown and Tater joined in on the fun as well. 7 month old Tater (Rip X Maggie) split treed with the meat, and both Daffney ( also 7 months Rip X Maggie) and Ellie Mae (6 month Rip X Boo) were participating on track and tree - this was only their 3rd time out. Keep up the good work all you guys with these Rip pups! And thanks for coming up Scott, Steve, Mike and Scott. We had a great time visiting and hunting with you all.

Good seeing you guys as always! I can now say by doing that to Aubrey it released some tension and that is why he did so well in his cast last night! Dogs looked good yesterday too.
