THE PARABLE OF THE JEWISH SAMURAI.
Once upon a time, a powerful Emperor of the Rising Sun advertised for a new Chief Samurai.
After a year, only three applied for the job: a Japanese, a Chinese, and a...
Jewish Samurai.
"Demonstrate your skills!" commanded the Emperor.
The Japanese Samurai stepped forward, opened a tiny box, and released a fly.
He drew his samurai sword & *Swish! * The fly fell to the floor, neatly divided in two!
"What a feat!" said the Emperor? "Number Two Samurai, show me what you do."
The Chinese Samurai smiled confidently, stepped forward and opened a tiny
box, releasing a fly. He drew his samurai sword & * Swish! * Swish!
The fly fell to the floor neatly quartered.
"That is skill!" nodded the Emperor. "How are you going to top that,
Number three Samurai?"
The Jewish Samurai, Obi-wan Cohen, stepped forward, opened a tiny box
releasing one fly, drew his samurai sword and *Swoooooosh! He flourished his sword so mightily that a gust of wind blew through the room. But the fly was still buzzing around!
In disappointment, the Emperor said,"What kind of skill is that? The fly isn't even dead."
"DEAD?" Replied the Jewish Samurai. "Dead is easy". "But circumcised?"

Hi Everyone!
Nice pix and what purty gals! HAPPY SIXTEENTH to your daughter Randy, she looks GREAT! Bob and I give her many thumbs up...and YOU.. permission to CHAPERON!

All's well here. Bob and I were busy moving furniture around from room to room. I had a thought and warned Bob what we were doing when he got home... so it's been hours! LOL... We are happy with the results...and just made a biger mess in the dining room(aka storage room) the garage and who knows where else...LOL... But outta sight outta mind!
I will be BUSY at Mums...Bob is going to an event where people dress in medieval garb and he will be watching some equestrian events. My cousin and her husband go all over the country doing these events. He will have a BLAST! Me, I'd feel like a goof... but one of these days I'll go along, dress my part and people watch.
Weather is cool. We had rain over night and that was good for the plants! Been a bit cool which is pretty nice.
OK, gotta rest up for the slavedriver.....LOL...

we treed a small bear sat, it came down when some of the guys got close to tree, after running for 2 more hours some dogs gave out and others just quit. Score-- Bear 1 -- Dogs 0 ------ see ya

Morning all,

Randy,
Happy birthday to your young lady.

No comments on the newpaper add.lol We are looking for a new clubhouse.

The hunt went great until about 11:00 when the torentia down pours started. We had 14 dogs entered this time with 5 passes. My photographer did not show up due to the chances of rain. I wish I would have watched the weather and I would have turned out first instead of last. Cut ole Buster loose and ten minutes later we were running to the truck.
Going to try to do at least one more before our nite hunt in October.
We will get some more pictures up soon.

Better get you some English dogs, they will hunt more than 2 hours at a time.

WENT OUT THIS MORNING TO SPLIT SOME WOOD 3THD OR 4TH STICK WENT TO GET FULL OF YELLOW JACKETS GOT ME 7 TIMES AFTER THEY SETTLED DOWN FILLED HOLE WITH WASP AND HORNET SPRAY THEN SPLIT THE STICK .

Prayers to ALL!
ALL well here. Busy Busy. Did tons with mum then... at eh last minute SHE was going to "prepare" and cook eggplant. She got out this big knife and... she is legally blind... so I took over. NOW.. you MUST know I DESPISE eggplant. NO ONE has been able to get me to NOT spit it out yet...LOL... So I prepared then cooked it.. and it smelled SO GOOD and looked SO GROSS! lol.. APparently it was "the best she had had in as long as she recalls AND I'm supposed to tell my psychiatrist(a Greek Orthodox Priest and "foodie" That is was "as good as my Mothers" WHAT A COMPLIMENT! To gook a Greek meal as well as a little Greek woman who I never did get to meet! AND I brought some of our maters in and one was one lb! lol... OUr new neighbors LOVE our produce and already made us zucchini bread we ate with maters and grilled striper from Bobs fishing trip tonite. YUM!
Still busy on the gardens. Bo worked on that plus he went to the medieval equestrian event this weekend with my cousin. He had fun and of all things met a girl who goes to school with Dylan at Fitchburg state and knew him from a film he was in with his brother that won some awards in college film fest. LOL....
It was WARM today and going to be in the 90s then a cool down. I feel Fall... around here it makes me SAD...
