HOWDY GANG........The word for today is WINDY!!!!!!!! It sure is nice to wake up with no headache. I didn't ring in the new year, was sacked out by 10:30pm, but I bet I feel better than those that did. I remember them days, and don't miss it one bit.

Morning all Went to bed at 10:00PM and woke up at 7:10AM. I feel good to. That wind is sure enough blowing. Never thought I get to the barn this morning. I would take two steps and it would blow me back 5 steps. Drove the truck back to the house so I didn't have to worry it would roll me back to the house. Bill hasn't checked in at either web site. He must be lost in them hills out where he lives. They just gave a weather wind warning for gusting to 55MPH. It will be fun walking today.

TD says Go to the mall to walk. Then you can deflate all the air in the wheels of the shopping carts then you can keep all those old people out of your way! ,,,,,,,,, It's a good thing I am short so when I go to church this morning maybe the air will deflect and not blow me over! Linda

Thought I would check in Good hunt last nite 2 singles and a double had a buddy hunt won but my female was working a cold track and I didn't call her off so we missed the deadline but thats alrite she ended up with grease.

The buddy I hunt with a lot caught this 54 pound beaver behind his house. He has been flooding his yard out and he finally got the male. He caught two younger ones at the beginning of the trapping season. Now he has to get the female. That wind has really been bad today. But I still made my walk and ate my beans for supper with ham and onions and cornbread.

Mike I did my walkin today too me and the oldest kid went shed hunting. Got skunked but got my excercise. Walked the bottoms then around the 12 acre patch and back through another bottom. Also 3 weeks ago TD saw 3 cocks and a hen pheasant. First we've seen around here in a long time. Evidently the prairie grass and flowers we planted this year did some good. Linda

Where did everybody go last night and where is everybody this morning? Got a call last night from Lifeline that my Mother-In-Law had fallen and needed help. Wife and I took off and went to her apartment and found her on the kitchen floor. We checked her over and I finally lifted her up in a chair. Then she got her walker and went to her chair in the living room. Finally she went to bed and we turned all the lights off and locked the door. Now getting back to you guys must really be sleeping in.

been on the phone with the workers this morning..they didn't think they wanted to try it today..couple weeks ago beaver [wood chippers] were $15.00...they aint easy to skin..but boy they are good eating..
