What a weekend. Another super Bunk House Hunt. Good food and good friends and good huntin.

Timmy and I want to say thank you to Tim and Paul for their dedication to the Blue tick Breed and for putting on a hunt like this each year.

Tim calmed down the chille this year but had some of the hotest salsa I've ever eaten. It was good but who knows what it tasted like after the first bite. LOL

We had super hunts both nights and treed a lot of coon. Friday night the first round we treed 3 coon on my group and treed 5 on the late cast.
Saturday night we treed 8 coon but only shot out 6.

Friday night on the first round I hunted with Tony Simmons and Jimmy Seward. The dogs all done a great job and Jimmys little female is makeing a super nice dog.
On the late round I hunted with Robbie Brooks , Lance Byrd and Johnny Yoder. We treed 5 coon in short fashion and got to see all the dogs look really good. They each split treed at different points and they all had the meat.
Saturday night I hunted with Hank Tabor, Elmo Overton and Gerald Everrett. We treed 8 coon but only shot out 6. Again the dogs all split at different times that night and they all had the meat.
Thank you again Tim and Paul for putting a hunt like this on for all of us to enjoy.

Just got off the phone with Mike Moppin, he called to let me know how his Turk X Dixie female was doing. Second time in the woods and she ran and treed, he is really proud of her. He also told me of a couple more of those pups down his way and they are really setting the woods on fire. Sounds like a real good cross..........Tim

I enjoyed the bunckhouse hunt, it was treat watching Turks offspring do it right, hard hunting, fast, accurate, and stay put, a sweet treat for all that got to witness the show, thanks for a great hunt and a great time.......Gerald

The Turk pups really were impressive. The natural ability the young ones show is really nice. Not too hard to train young ones when it's in the blood.

Talked to Mark Brown yesterday, he wanted to let me know how his son's young dog (sired by Smoke) was doing. Second time in the woods and he went all the way bawl and squall on track chop on tree "COON CRAZY". This one will be easy to train, it's in the blood..........Tim

The guy that hunts with Marks son called me and wants a pup out of Smoke. He's been going with Scott and said that Scott's, Smoke pup is the most natural coon crazy pup he ever seen. I think he is going to get a Smoke X Peral pup and then when Drizz has her pups out of Smoke around Christmas he said he might get one of them when they are weaned. Drizz will be haveing pups Dec. 22. This will be the second cross on Smoke and they will be full bro and sis to Scott's pup just a year younger.

I think ole Turk passed it on. Not only was Turk a producer but his offsping are now producing too.

I know that Smoke ( Turk X Noodles ) is puting natural coon hateing drive in his pups. Just like Turk the pups out of Smoke are all out of different femals and showing the same hate for ole ring tail.

The one out of Turk that I'm waiting on, is to see what GrNiteCh Mad Dog Tree Rockin Robin will throw when she is bred this next year. Just got to find a stud first. Got about four on the wish list.

Thank u and the wife for the sulsa. No one seams to be eating it except for me. We had trouble treeing Ricky on the outside tonight. Didn't get out till after the moon came up. A slick 3 dens and a beaver den later we called it quits. Some nights aren't too bad and some nights seem tuff in this moon.

Talked to Scott Nightingale from Holton, Ks, he brought me up to date on his Turk x Maw-Bell pup The pup went after the first coon he ever saw and is treeing on a hangup, has a good bawl mouth and chops on tree. This is Scott's second Turk pup, his first died a few months ago, he was the real deal and will be greatly missed. Scott hopes this pup takes the older ones place.........Tim

Scotts first pup was a littermate to the Psycho dog that I am hunting now (Turk x Pearl). Scott was really proud of him and was ready to put him in the hunts this spring. I talked to some that had hunted with him and he was for real..........Tim

Mr,Tim Geting back with you on the pup i call jayce .Have only had him in the woods three night's.On the third night he split 10 yrds from older dog had the coon after going deep 400 plus yrds. Hard tree dog. Even at over a year old had to take him along slow.I've only had him for 4mo .PUPS left in pen's with nothig done with them sure makes it harder for the next guy . Does aney one have or know of aney one who has a femail john two pup that is six weeks to thirteen weeks old i inda told my girlfriends kids id get them a pup for christmas and i put a deposit on a pup from Gerald but shelly lost them all im still going to get a pup from Gerald when he breeds shelly again but i would like to find a john 2 pup for the kids for christmas
